@@KlaviceGavinwait I thought she avoided Paloma because 1. She accused Taylor of bullying after she self-evicted, and 2. She refused to properly hold herself accountable even when she did acknowledge her beliefs about Taylor were lies?
SPOILER ALERT: You can add Jag to this list now that he’s won the POV. To think that Cameron was the HOH that got Jag voted out unanimously only for Jag to come back into the game and win the veto sending Cameron home is just poetic justice 👌
please never stop talking about Taylor. Her road to winning the season was truly something remarkable. She is the only person that could ever be both AFP and the winner
Kevin being evicted in the triple eviction in BBCAN3, being put on the block during the triple eviction in BBCAN5, winning the veto, and then winning the season is my personal favourite redemption
I will always cherish Taylor’s win for everything she accomplished. She is a wonderful person and her gameplay doesn’t get enough credit by many. I just adore her win on multiple levels!
I feel like Steve from BB17 is underrated for his redemption. He was underestimated the entire season and just disregarded, especially by the twins, and treated as if he was a child in many regards. His win of BB17 was such a victorious moment for the underdogs
The way moments 3 and 2 connect is poetic especially with Erika being that initial HOH with the plan to target Janelle, also Howie (and boogie iirc) being the ones to call out the glitch in the comp. All these events ultimately culminate in the eviction of the frontrunner, only previous winner, and mastermind Dr Will. Such a wild chain of narrative events for a show like this.
Even though it is an obvious one, Cody getting redemption by evicting Nicole in BB22 in the same situation he lost 16 to Derrick in and resulting in a unanimous win has to be one of the best redemption arcs while producing debatably the best final eviction.
Without question the biggest redemption moment in Big Brother Canada was Kevin Martin winning the Triple Eviction Veto that cost him the game in BBCAN3 when that comp was also do or die for him again in BBCAN5.
While Kevin did evict Ika, I still give it Ika fir BBCAN5, as she had one of the biggest improvement between seasons out of any player in the US or Canada.
I think I have now binge watched every episode of yours. I found your channel like two weeks ago and I can’t stop watching love the video so much and the passion for big brother. Happy to know there’s other is out there like me that love this show so much.
Ethan and all the BB "experts" love to diminish Ian's win as a "bitter jury." I think he's right up there with Taylor, proving that you don't have to be a sociopath to win.
@@ninedaysjane2466That and the multiple times he would've gone home if not for varying circumstances. Taylor also had a similar situation however I feel like she overcame it, whereas Ian was kinda given it (he should've gotten 4th but Dan worked his ass off to save him). All players have had both good and bad luck effect their game, as well as circumstances outside of their control and the mark of a good player is being able to play around those circumstances and still play well, which Ian didn't do as well.
16:09 - 16:13 uff these words hit hard after this last week of Cameron being HoH after he was blindsided by most of the house and his best friend was evicted.
Erika had one of the most complex journeys on BB. She did play a strong game in her first season, marred by some of her comments. She then returned and was mostly defined by hating Janelle and being used by Boogie, who whittled away her relationships in the house and humiliated her on national television. The show then chose to humiliate her as well, in a gruesome finale, so I'm glad you focused on some of the more positive moments.
This was such an inspiring video!! I knew Taylor was going to be number 1, but it’s incredibly well deserved! Loved all the other moments you highlighted as well!
My serious-not-so-serious redemption arc is (of course) Porsche from BB13. She was on the block week 1, then stuck with no power for weeks, before being a key piece of the Danielle-Kalia alliance, winning key comps (see: Clown Shoe) and pulling through to the final 2. Even though people dismiss her for being boring, I think her narrative arc over that season is one of the most interesting.
How about a video of breaking down WHY every Runnerup lost. Like it’ll be interesting to dissect how the jury voted and how it changed year after year. Also, when did Jury Management matter?? Nobody talked about managing the jury I think until Paul lose twice and everyone started to bring up jury being sour over a player!
I love Taylor so much lol she was actually my winner pick too.. but I loved how she would dress up in the craziest outfits and walk around the house like a queen lmao
I'm conflicted by BB24. Taylor 100% deserved to win (near) unanimously but I also don't think Monty deserved to lose by such a margin. It's really a testament to the strong finalists that season and inspiring that perseverance and redemption won the hearts of the jury, many of whom were actively targeting Taylor.
I haven’t seen all of BB4 but I feel like based on Erika’s BB7 game she doesn’t get nearly enough credit as a player. I think if she is able to make another big move earlier in the game (maybe if they don’t replay the HoH that she won) she has a much better chance at the end. Although, I still think she probably loses to the other three players in the F4 because they all played such great games
I think Janelle is arguably one of the best never to win Big Brother. I don’t think it was ever going to happen, but a Janelle/Boogie Final 2 in All Stars would’ve been interesting. I think Janelle beats Boogie in a close vote, but I’m not sure.
I know you don’t talk about BBCAN, but Kevin Martin. Went home on the triple in BBCAN3, won the Veto in the triple while on the block and broke the game to win on BBCAN5
You should do a video on a deep dive into americas favorite houseguest over the years and the different aspects that go into each winner (davonne reminded me with her underdog story)
Here are some other moments of redemption I thought of... Amy (BB3), Ryan (BB9), James (BB9), and Cliff (BB21) all got to re-enter the house after being evicted and immediately win HoH. There was a one week gap for Amy’s redemption, but everyone else went from evicted to HoH in a matter of minutes. On BB12, Matt butchered his chance to break up Brendon and Rachel on week 3, only to win the next HoH he competed in and did it properly. On BB12. Enzo was good at every aspect of the game except winning comps, which resulted in him being unable to secure his spot in F2. On BB22, he still couldn’t win the last HoH, but he did prove that he was much better at challenges, and made F2 anyway. On the flipside, Cody lost BB16 by taking Derrick to the end over Victoria. On BB22, he was once again in a position to pick who goes to the end with him, but this time he took out his biggest threat. On BB16, Nicole was taken out at F7. On BB18, she not only won the season, but she positioned herself to win through a fantastic HoH reign at F7, the same point where she previously lost. While they don’t have a specific moment of redemption, Paul and Victor both gradually learned to be good players on BB18, starting off as watered down Jozea’s, and ending as the season’s two biggest power players.
David was my last rooting interest on BB22. I remember nicknaming him David Alexander the Great, and making David vs Goliath (the myth, not the Survivor season) jokes! Him conquering the dark room comp-the thing that got him sent out of the game the season before-was one of the few bright spots in that season!
I grew to like Taylor but she made a lot of mistakes early on. I can see how the playing pool in that swimsuit turned off a lot of people. She managed to come back from that spectacularly and truly deserved to win.
When are you going to get redemption after losing to your computer trying to rank every BB Comic. You need to go big or go home, rank every BB eviction ever.
I think even though Jessica and Cody still got out late prejury and early jury but Cody got screwed over on his hoh then got evicted then if it wasn’t for Dominique jessica would’ve went home, then Cody comes back jessica wins hoh then the next week she uses her power. Sadly they got out the next two weeks but they were close atleast but they did really good for being like 12 v 2
