It's sort of like a whirlpool you get sucked into with the twirling bass & drums & lyrics, then you pop out or get popped out into the next bit of the song 🤘🔥

Popped in to comment on the new additions to the set. Love the line up. Huge Tolkien fan so the hobbit is big. At work, we carried the arcade1up lineup of games, including the Star Wars pinball.
As far as the song, Metallica is not really my cup of tea. But we do sell a lot of it on vinyl. Fun thing an older fellow was in with his nephew aged early teens, with long involved discussion of Metallica. The kid bought a cd from his own pocket money, the vinyl was too costly for him.
I just started watching your videos and you do a great job. The first video i watched was Dragonforce Through the fire and flames. Talk about your boy anytime!!

You know, like every band their music goes down hill as they get older, but I think for how old they are and where they're in their career, I think it's pretty good. I mean every band goes through this at some point in their career. You can't bring back the past, you can only live for today, and that's where they are at in their lives.
Translation: The bands I think are really good these days are unlistenable.
Nah man. Not every band goes through this stage. You've got bands like meshuggah writing the violent sleep of reason album in their old age, their most technically demanding, bonkers album. Even immutable which is their slower, more chilled out album, is still very creative.

Sorry to hear your difficulties in getting your posts blocked, unfortunately with what the record companies are doing with the strikes, especially for playing full songs, unfortunately you might need to adjust your posts to accommodate the asinine record companies.
I like it, I want to hear the rest of the album. This was a cool song, I’m not going to say it’s their best, but it’s good. 🎸🎸👍🤘🎤🎶😎

I am not a big Metallica fan, but this is a good basic head-banger, with some tasty guitar solo. I have seen commenters say that they were not impressed with the first two releases, but this rocks👍

Everytime I hear this song and the little outro riff, it keeps reminding me of the outro riff from panteras I'm broken. Not exactly the same obviously but it has shades of it. A little faster and not as heavy but it's there

Menacing is a good word for this one and I imagine it's intentional. Seems to be coming from a dark place from what James had been dealing with the last few years.

I’ve listened to this a few times now and I’m wanting it to win, for temallica to prove the haters wrong but I’m not sold on this track at all. Great verse riff. Middle 8 feels like it’s gonna explode then just goes back to the plod along. The guitar solo for me is terrible. No feel at all and out of place in parts. I’m hoping it makes sense as an album as a whole tbh. So far the tracks remind me of Reload - which I like. Especially this and Screaming which is a great song. I know they’re getting on a bit so I can’t expect 100 mph all the time but I feel there is no risk or edge to some more recent output. It’s like the “fuck it all and Fucking no regrets” just got up and fucked off! 🤣🤣🤣 I hope the rest of the record proves me wrong, I really want them to win the haters over. 🤘
