Keep in mind that Andre wrote this song and managed to have some sort of rehearsal for the song with Tori, the dancers and the band exactly one day before they performed it on stage. That takes such massive talent for all of them who performed it on stage

completely understandable, since she always gives Andre credit. She usually tries to include him in someway or shout him out. she is a singer and performer not a writer or composer, they never even had her playing an instrument lol.

When this episode aired years ago there was a roomer going around that all of the girls dancing backup were other classmates that Ryder tried to take advantage of before Tori.
I don’t know if that was ever confirmed. But I like to believe it.
I always thought so too Trina clearly knows enough about Ryder to be able to track them down snd it’s the ultimate cherry ontop for this payback.

@@crvat The reason people hate her because of the whole Ariana incident (Ariana talked about how someone she worked with was giving her hate and everyone assumed is was Victoria) and people start attacking her and giving her hate for it. To find out years later that is wasn't Victoria, it was someone Ariana worked with on broadway

I love everything about this. The way Andre put so much effort into writing her song and getting people to perform with them, Trina laughing at the whole song, Jade jamming out to the song so much, Robbie and beck forcing Ryder to watch, Sinjin putting the spotlight on Ryder when she addressed him, and lastly, Tories amazing note at 2:28. That gave me chills
One of the best songs of the series and it's still a banger 11 years later.

I think the issue was that it was hard to sell that Tori was considered the best performer and singer at Hollywood Arts when Cat and Jade and Andre were right there. The hate was still ridiculous though.
