Wow! That was an awesome show with cameos galore! The only time I have seem a Ferrari toolkit being used was by Wayne Carini on 'Chasing Classic Cars' when the brake binded on the Ferrari 275GTB4 he was driving to a track.
this reminds me of working on my buddy Shaun's Lancia Beta at a campground in Oregon... We used a rock and a log to replace a worn distributor bearing and seal. Cave Man Automotive!

Also should be able to push the belt a bit with your thumb 6mm approx, not tight as a drum otherwise Alternator bearings will fail. Probably know the usual stuff.
I was watching this vid while I was waiting for my takeaway at the Chinese restaurant. When I saw the bonnet flip back I literally shouted "Noooooo!" at my phone. Got some funny looks from the other customers 🤣🤣🤣

(Crying on the inside for you) but i recon it would make a great video when you show how much you have to remove to straighten it back and fix the hinge!

That was quite interesting to watch. 😆 Btw. if this pully is the secondary air pump and you don't get a warning light, just leave it. All it does is blowing air into the catalyst to heat it up more quickly after cold-starts. This is mainly done for emission testing. Under real world conditions it doesn't matter.

It wouldn't be an episode without working on the Ratarossa at a petrolhead event.
Would anyone here be interested in an early spec bmw E30 M3. It's in bits. It's uncrashed and I can tell you the history of the car since Ashton motors imported it. It's had a fortunes worth of parts replaced from BMW but someone took the dashboard and windscreen out to repair metalwork and then died. I'm not sure I can continue with the car and wondered if anyone would be interested in making a serious offer. I could make a video if you want to see it in the flesh. The car is not rotten like alot of them are and it's had a new firewall panel made especially by bmw which cost a fortune and took alot of work because it has the chassis number stamped on it. Turns out it only needed small localised repairs in the area. Anyone interested?

Great improvised fix Scott. The most jeopardy though was putting your dirty old Ratarossa battery straight on the hotel room carpet to charge it!😂 you’ll be flavour of the month if they happen to watch the video🤦♂️ I’ll have to check out your mate’s interview with Mr Rawlings ‘An American in Knebworth’ sounds like a musical.... almost👍

It is not too bad to exchange belt on a coupe either, because it is possible to remove a cover in front of the lid. I had the alternator repaired 2 times(the elctronics inside the alternator). No problem.

9:50 by the way I was reading a book I got from the UK on the ferrari testarossa from 1992/1993 when the run was coming to an end and it actually has a spoiler back there, that's why its got that slight flare on the back, helps add a bit of stability to it at speed without ruining the lines, also they used tube chasis construction so they could change the construction of the car and the production line in a month, which makes me wonder if frankly it would be possible to retrofit or copy the 512TR mods to a TR with a simple subframe change, where they lowered the engine by an inch and moved it 4 inches forward
and I bring this up as well, if you ever find a ratarossa 512TR, get it, theirs, well, far far far less than most people know of them, its something I only learned on bring a trailer with the owner of a black TR who found one and upgraded to it after 13 years of ownership when looking through the classifieds
and he does say its quite an improvement, I just wish they hadnt bungled the styling, as they never ever quite got the TR right, hell the best looking one I've seen was a TR with a 512M front bumper on it all matt black in singapore, theirs actually videofootage of it on youtube too fyi.
but seriously if I told you how few their is, it would make the BB look like a mass produced car in comparison.
also how hard is it to take the chin spoiler off, as they actually did that on vice latter on in season 4, where for the camera car and some of the driving scenes they fully took it off to help with the ground clearance, like maybe you should see if theirs some way to make a detach system for it
also its funny years ago I think before you got the ratarossa I think I came across that very same ad for this car, as I remember seeing it before this in those photos, which I sadly never said, just one of those funny things you come across that comes round latter in life

With him, quite possibly. He had all sorts. Sounds like he’s fixed a car by finding a spare in the boot before.
Careful revving it on an incline. The oil is mostly in the back of the pan.

Paint is heavy and vain.
I love the rawness and worn out look of the ratarossa, but I am not a fan of all the junk and garage and dirt in it. It’s still worth thousands and thousands of dollars in originality. Please at least vacuum it and keep it clean with no trash 🙂 Great video!
