Mary Shelley's Frankenstein for the Sega CD is an adventure fighting game and a licensed adaptation of the 1994 movie of the same name. Unlike the movie, the game is entirely in the monster's point of view as he figures out who he is, what he wants, how the populace reacts to him, and why all the animals and people want to kill him. It also has some fighting game-like segments, complete with a health bar, and the usual mechanics to be expected from a 2D fighting game.
Induviel ( tasvideos.org/Users/Profile/I... ) here knows exactly what Frankenstein's monster wants and uses the monster's bald, leathery head to headbutt their way into beating the game as fast as possible.

Yep, this is how I remember the 1994 movie. Right down to the jank headbutt hitbox.

He actually has some smooth movement, but I’d still hate to see him run! 😂

Contrastein is the name of the first-person shooter, not the suffering curator.

Only slightly less of a fever dream than the film…but sadly much less of the main character savagely ripping out people’s hearts than the film.

@@GamerGee Instead, developers utilised it for its CD audio and full motion video capabilities.

Its official. I've seen a lot of games in person. I had that rich 90s kid as a friend growing up. This has to be one of the worst games I've been privileged to view. Because like a comment before. Nobody knows this game existed...
