I put down 224hp and 184tq 8000rpm redline. I'm happy with the power but my header sucks lol. I'm always curious how much more I'd put down with a full 3" exhaust. That's what my tuner wanted me to get, but I wanted my ride a little more quiet, not even sure if it matters lol. Oh well. But yeah I need a new header fosho

JDMisLife small turbo means more torque low in the rpm band. And low torque or not it’ll still hang dead even with a FBO mk6 GTI which is boosted and makes well north of 300 wtq....

I did do a lot of research. There is so many routes you can go with aftermarket intake and header combo to get the most with a k20z3 for full bolt ons. You car is on fbo with kpro as the other person he just changed the tune on the dyno. There could be multiple reason you beat him... Better launch, better tires, short shifter etc You can't just go around saying you didn't do a lot of research because I didn't go custom bolt ons.. I just went the typical route lol Keep up the videos!

Beautiful setup. I have a 09 fa5, skunk2 cai, afe twisted steel header w/hfc to a invidia n1 and boomba motor mounts. Almost finished tunning it wit Dan from etunez. Have skunk2 stage 2 tuner cams springs, retainers, seats and keepers, getting them put in next month
you forgot to mention that their are multiple intakes and header and exhaust .... the top intakes for this chassis is Skunk2, Hybrid racing , and Ktuned then you have the header skunk2 mega/alpha then you have Invidia then lastly a custom header like ASP now for exhaust. its all about preference. you said GP but they arent in business no longer... so that leaves with Skunk2,Xlr8,FR/Thermal. i would have gone a little more in to detail.

In the video I explained there is different kinds of intakes like the short ram intake and cai and for the header I explained about the different header like 4-1 header and 4-2-1 header which skunk2 megapower/alpha has been proven to make the most HP gains for a header and I explained the best exhaust to go with is a 3" exhaust.. I explained in my imo the XLR8 exhaust is my second favorite exhaust to go with.. I explained all the mods that I have and yes I explained that Go Power is no longer in business.. The word your looking for is scavenging, which is what you want to improve on, the larger exhaust is going to degrade this and isn’t going to improve scavenging therefore performance suffers. Optimum exhaust size is somewhere from 2.25-2.5 inch exhaust for all motor depending on other mods and engine build.
