  • When Fuchs' dystrophy began to steal the life that Dr. Coefield built, he opted for sight-saving DMEK surgery by Dr. Jack Parker of Parker Cornea. This corneal transplant restored Dr. Coefield's eyesight and cured his disease.

This man's old story, is my present story. I am 81 now and doubt they will touch me. Rt. eye took a drop after a flu like illness and I must go see what, if anything can be done. Just want to pass that DMV test in Oct 2023!

I'm a 44 year old fuch's dystrophy / amblyopia patient who is a nurse. I am already needing this surgery. Where are you located. I see primarily out of one eye and I am so afraid of something going wrong with this surgery and me loosing the vision that I do have. PLEASE get back with me on your location.

Sherry, They are in Birmingham, AL Dr. Jack did both of my eyes for DMEK and later for cataracts in 2018 and 2019. Great surgeon, and office. I have my yearly follow-up next week. I am lucky to live about 100 miles away. I am on FB, if you have any questions.
