- This week we finally dress a tiny tin lithograph Marx dolls house we bought at a Toy Fair (for only £10) quite a long time ago! We have been collecting the tiny 24th scale items for years like Christmas cracker charms to tiny sausages. The occupants are a little eccentric too! Come with us from start to finish as we make things and furnish this teeny tiny tin house!
If you would like to see us doing some different things pop over to our other channel "Mudlarking With Kit + Caboodlers" - / @mudlarkingwithkitcabo...

I’m in Chicago. I went to LensCrafters’s for new glasses, trying to explain to the guy that I make jewelry I need glasses for reeeaaally close up. He goes I sew six scale doll clothes with mine. Yadda yadda- we both watch and love your channel!! Couldn’t believe I found someone in the wild who likes things I like. I was bowled over. We talked about mudlarking (we don’t have that in the US) and your mudlarking house. We talked about how you guys will pick up a random thing and know exactly what it’s meant to be- like who knew meat lockers were a thing? And other bits we couldn’t even remember. I was fully jumping up and down in excitement right there in LensCrafters’s.
That’s so sweet 🙏 kindred spirits !
Oh what a beautiful moment. Such a great story, thank you for sharing this.
I’m sure that you spent the rest of the day walking on clouds. Fantastic ❤
I don't know if you also watch them but there's another mom and daughter duo who mudlark and make things with their finds... their channel is called Northern Mudlarks.
The little white item is a dishwasher, I believe. Love your videos! Kathleen, USA
Yep, I agree - that’s a dishwasher 👍
Your house is very sweet. You need a lazysusan to set it on. Then you could turn it easily. ❤ ❤🇺🇸
Thought I couldn't love this house anymore until you introduced Mr. & Mrs. Duck and Chicken. I feel transported into a children's book📘!
Hope you both 👩❤👩 know how much you are truly appreciated.
I had one, well my oldest sister did and it was passed down. We live in Erie Pennsylvania, USA where the Marx factory was located. Thanks for the memories ❤
I remember playing with my tin house as a child. Your cushions, table cloth, and rug turned out to be so adorable!
Hello, I believe the washing machine should be turned around so the red pipes face the wall. And yes, the white appliance is definitely a dishwasher 😊. The food on the kitchen table is adorable.
A dishwasher! Absolutely adorable!!! Thank you!
Very good. Well done! I was thinking some kind of dryer
Could the little elephant be a watering can?! Water would come out the trunk/spout maybe. What an adorable teeny tiny scale hoise. I actually remember seeing these as a child of the 70's. Great job!! ❤🏡
When I was a very small girl, I saw a tin house just like this one in Fenwick's toy department in Newcastle on Tyne. I wanted it so much! I did get a dolls house later, but I never forgot the little tin house! Yours is absolutely charming and watching this was a lovely nostalgic trip down memory lane. Thank you x
I have to say this is my favorite doll house. I had one with two floors in the late sixties with the plastic furniture. My mom had to put the house together they came un assembled. They were very popular here in the states back then. I hope you can find a television. Mine had a floor model.
Liked your choice of the Atomic themed material Fleur. We remember that kind of design when growing up in the sixties. Cute, colourful bungalow.
Too sweet and lovely love the chicken Mrs Peckham and the duck Mr Waddellton 🤣🤣🤣😂😂💕💕💕
So sweet. I'm sure I had one of these back in the day - thanks for returning me a memory of childhood!!
Just a suggestion for the tin house. Gluing flat magnets to the fridge, stove, and washer. Love your videos
Absolutely loved seeing you arrange the tin house, since I started watching your channel I have bought a dolls house and started collecting things to put into it , thank you for the inspiration 💖
Fleur, I loved this! I had a large two story house like that. I also used a washing machine like that. Oh so long ago. Enjoy you and Kate so much. Thank you for all your adventures!!!
I enjoy these doll house videos more then I can say, I am reliving my childhood and love the memories
Mr. Duck should be in billing 😂
I think it is just too sweet. I thought the white thing was a stove but what do I know about kitchens I try to avoid them. 😂😅
Flour, wonderful job of it. Keep up the good work. 😊
Adorable!!! The inhabitants are perfect!! ❤
I do love the hen and duck as residents, but if you want, I also have a human doll that I think would be perfect for this little house. She's the right size and time period and was a "dime store" doll. She's yours for the asking.
Love that you can see the goose through the front window 😂❤😂 lovely Fleur!
I think the piece in the kitchen is a dishwasher ! It's beautiful !
Total perfection. I feel like Ms. Chicken and Mr. Duck could be called the Fowlers. Fowler Family Cottage. And I think I would call the poodle Periwinkle.
You have made one of my dreams come true! I always wanted a tin doll house like this when I was little and still do! I love everything about it especially the occupants! You have brightened my day! ❤
Isn't it fun to be a little girl again. Only the sufficiency is better this time around. ❤
When you first started my mind went to the old cartoon called the Jetsons lol. I had a tin doll house when I was a little girl, I loved it. I didn't know they made them as small as your tiny treasure, but I sure enjoyed you dressing it up. I also think your occupants are perfect.
So glad to see you add an elephant cup to your decor. Elephants are my favorite. I have collected elephant figurines since 1978 and I have so many, but never get tired of seeing them. Ty, Vicki from USA.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Took me back on my own trip down memory lane. My friend had one of these and i spent time playing with it . Just wonderful hence i messaged my friend to tell her about it.
Oh how wonderful. Do you know what i like the most about dollhouses? Is filling them with most adorable tiny things. This was fun to watch and be a part of ladies.❤❤❤
Adorable. I love how you put it all together. Really makes me smile x
Could the Blue Poodle be called Bluedle? 😂😂 thank you for the video. I'm amazed that the metal houses dont rust😊
Omg I love that little house is totally incredibly beauty 💙💙
I love watching your mudlarking and the dollhouse videos. It's so calming to me watching you put stuff together. Absolutely loves this video❤
Adorable little house, perhaps the washing machine should turn the other way as the red things look like pipes. You have done a lovely job with such a small house Fleur❤
I think the elephant is a teapot without its lid. I love the mid century furniture!
Or perhaps elephant is a creamer - cream pours from Ellie’s trunk?
So cute, and creative! Really fires the imagination! Fleur, your hands look so young, like the hands of a 20 year old! Must be something special in the mud in the UK! 😁 Love you ladies! ❤
I love the little gnome. 😁👍🤍
I had this exact dolls house when I was little
It brought back so many memories. I loved it.
Me too - and I'd QUITE forgotten about it till I saw this!
I love how you can see the bird through the front window. How wonderful it all is!
The 1950's ❤ A simpler life ...
The windowbox that had the flower missing is from a Playmobil set..... my granddaughter plays with our Playmobil farm that my sons had 25 years ago when they were little and we have a windowbox in our set just like yours, with the flowers intact. Loved this video, brought back lots of memories of my childhood!
Hello Fleur & Kate oh my Fleur you have the Patience of a Saint ❤ teeny tiny pillows 💕
& teensy rug, reminding me of lets work on my Dollhouse😂Your so Blessed ✨🙋♀️🍪🌄
such a darling little doll house. i had a 2 story metal dollhouse printed with designs somewhat like that when i was abt. age 7. lost it when our house burned down 3 yrs. later. so enjoy seeing u recreate childhood memories for us. thanx
So sad to lose a cherished dollhouse! In the late 79s we found a two story tin dollhouse at the dump -- I already had two-- but I furnished it up with odds and ends and occupied it with origami dogs, to my own great delight.
I think it went to my cousin when we moved.
SO cute! I love that extra-mini-gnome...
what a delightful video. I enjoyed the whole process! Thank you for sharing! kindest regards, k
When I was a little girl in the 1970's, we would go visit my grandma and she had old cigar boxes full of tiny gum ball machine toys full to the rim of just amazing toy from years and years of collecting. I'd spend hours playing with these items....
Aw x
What a joy to watch this beautiful little house made into a home! Thank you so much…. Greetings from Canada❤️
The sliding cupboard is a bookcase. It had little groups of plastic books in solid colors. I still have the bookcase and piano somewhere. My house was a 2 story but I don't know what happened to it.
🙋♀️❤️. Adorable! So fun😊
I love it, very cozy. Mrs. Chicken and Mr. Duck are very cute.
Elephant is a creamer pourer, white thing looks like a dishwasher, the food is adorable, so many small objects...cute. very creative! ❤...great job!❤❤
Mr. Duck might be a doctor, a
''Quack doctor ''
I think Mr. Duck works in a cracker (“quacker”) factory.
ouch!!!!! 😂
Chiroquacker!
❤Luv ya bunches @Kate and @Fleur❤
The pan of bacon could also go on the stove burner to give you more room to see the tablecloth 😊!
It's both relaxing and inspiring to watch creative minds at work!! those tiny cushions would sell in full size because of how retro they looked...thanks for sharing this with us ...Karl from eastern Canada
On top if the stove where the burner is missing put a tiny cutting board.
So sweet, love this, your videos make me want a dolls house 🏠
So fun!!! I love the gnome and the homeowners!
It's in amazing condition. Absolute bargain for a tenner!
🎉the duck is a bit like arthur dailey ducking and diving lol 🎉🎉
The elephant could be to pour cream or tea. I liked the fabric as well. Thank you for sharing with us. Very enjoyable.
The washing machine is a twin tub with separate spin dry space. You had to move the clothes by hand into the spinner.
I love the metal dollhouses. There's something so charming about them.😊❤
Absolutely lovely teeny tiny house all furnished with small enchanted things!! ❤❤
Such a beautiful little house, you do such a wonderful job decorating and arranging the wee little tiny treasures. The little house makes me happy looking at it 💕
Absolutely charming.
I was thinking an early dishwasher.. this is my fav house so far. X
I love the characters moving into the house. I just looked them up. I found a set if 15 in good condition. Selling for between $35 and $58 EACH! Hang on to those toys in your cereal kids!
How fantastic that you have managed to collect all the fantastic things to put into your adorable 1950 house and I love the way you have staged it well done Fleur .
How lovely your tiny house looks! The way you talk about the little things, I love it! The duck and the chicken really belongs there! Fleur ,well done!❤❤
Brilliant , soooooo cute, 😊Sam😊
I love the inhabitants, precious
You did a tremendous job decorating that sweet adorable dollhouse. Love all of the extra tiny things.❤😃
Mr. Waddleton is off to work. His line is accounts payable, bills. Mrs. Peckham is off to work in the Church Charity Shop before meeting Mrs. Cluckingford for tea.
Love it it's just adorable, I had a tin dollhouse when I was little, it had a garage and was two stories. I'm in the US ❤
Absolutely fascinating as ever!
Awesomeness, it looks great. Take care and thanks for sharing 👍🙏❤️
I enjoyed watching you decorate this little humble abode so much. It is my favorite of all the houses I have seen. Me. And Mrs. Duck are precious. And so are you and Kate. Thankyou, Thank you, Thankyou❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
@@theminiatureworldofkitcabo1633 you are most welcome. I have so many gifts for you and now address. I'm in the USA.
Love it! I would draw a slot on one of the pig's backs and make a piggy bank out of him. 🐖 The chicken and duck are adorable 😊
I love the duck in the window, 😊
Wonderful! The fabric at the start reminded me of the kitchen table we had when I was a child in the early 60's. The duck at the end could be Peter Duck, ex seaman and now working, as fleur says, in water filtration, or perhaps at the hydroelectric power station.
Adorable!!!!❤
Love this little house. So cute.
Another wonderful relaxing video. This turned out great, not surprisingly. The house now looks like a real " home" great work Fluer. I, too, loved the retro fabric. I believe it is by Michael Miller. I am a quilter, and I have seen that print before. Would love to use it as a quilt back. Or, if I could fashion sew, it would be an awesome dress fabric.
I absolutely love this. You have given me inspiration. I bought one of these houses recently and was thrilled to see that you have one. Thank you ❤
Perfection ❤
BRILLIANT❣️ @Fleur, this is absolutely precious; I smiled throughout the video and can’t help but admire your creativity and attention to detail! Water filtration is quite important work!! ❣️💕😁💛
I think you should make some tiny dolls. Thr house is lovely. I vote for ppl occupents,
Absolutely warmed me heart ♥️ this 🏡
I love this wee house. Your voice is so lovely Fleur which made this video so wonderful and soothing. Thank you very much. Cheers and take care.
Delightful and charming ❤❤❤
In love with your videos 🥰❤️🥰❤️
As I watch this I am making a bird's nest for my 1/12 scale dolls house chimney which is fiddly enough so it is lovely to see you work and the challenges you have. Just beautiful
I was so invested, i kept thinking, please turn the elephant around to face the room 😄🐘
Fleur: "What business would a duck be in? ...water filtration."
😂😂😂😂 LOL ❤️
Cute beyond 🥰 cute!
I was thinking dishwasher fo rthe thing you did'nt know what it was. The elephant would have been a teapot missing his lid. I love love love Mrs Chicken as you know chickens are one of my favorites. I only have four now but they lay well. Stay safe and looking forward to the borrowers next week. xx
I’m
So glad that you showed a tin house. One of my childhood memories was trying to put together the house and the furniture, You had to put the tabs into the slots😅
