I can't believe they brought this game back. I play this game as a kid back on the NES release 1989. I was born in 1986. Now I feel old. I still have my old copy to this day.
you played this old game at 3 years old....You must have an IQ of 300 and a memory of 10 Elephants...Hilarious.
Keep a firm hold on that one. Don't think they ever released it on NES in Europe. I played it to death with my mate on his Commodore... Loved it! Hilariously funny game...
Amiga is back... I love that it is simple like the really north and south on the Amiga. But I have to be honest, I want just to play the original game!! That's a perfect game. If you played Amiga, you will perhaps want to give this time North and South a try. But someone knows how many remakes north and south have? 😂
When it comes to genuine remakes there have been three. I assume you do not count the ports.
As someone who is fascinated with starting to play strategy games but admittingly is more of a shooter/fighter/sports gamer and is new to this genre, this game seems like fun to me. Don't kill on me for that, I'm just a 43 year old gamer expanding my horizons a little late lol
I am very similar am at an age now where I just want to chill with games
I think this is a good introduction to the genre as it is not to punishing for newcomers and you have some space to make mistakes. The mini games also offer some variety.

I dunno how I missed this on Amiga.. But then again I did miss the first Sid Meiers Civ.. It looks like a hidden gem tbh

@@SCREENSTARS43 Seems very interesting.. I remember my two favorite Amiga games were Sid Meiers Pirates and Cinemaware’s Wings..

I think what would have made this game a bit better would be if it were similar to TF2, with online play and different maps based on different states, with different types of games (the train minigame being similar to Payload, for example, but maybe add in the ability to blow up tracks or something).
Played a lot when I owned my A600.. But after all these years i find the game quite boring. Graphic is nice but the gameplay.... nope.
