Adam Jones: has some of the best riffs and guitar lines; Stands still like he's performing in an orchestra instead of prancing around the stage like other lead guitarists would, lol
And also no matter how long you’ve been playing in a band together it must require some serious concentration to play those songs correctly with Danny Carey on the kit behind you.
@@arthurpires6178 Exactly, I play several Tool songs regularly on guitar myself and I will admit after about 4 8+ minute songs my concentration gets pretty depleted. I can’t imagine doing it for 2+ hours for months on the road.

Was there!! It was a great show!! Loved when he moved his hand telling all of us in the audience to sing a verse of Vicarious too!! I was screaming!!! 😍🙌🏽🙌🏽

@K.M. Smith nice, i had some green at the show and it made it much more fun, I would love to experience a tool show like you did, you know how to see a live show 😎
I went to this show when I was 12 and during the meet and greet I got to shake adam and Justin’s hand as well as get guitar picks from both of them. I also got to talk to both of them it was awesome
@Brandon Miller good luck with that. They let you record 1 song a show. Maybe over the course of a year you will be able to see 4 of their new songs live from home.
Exactly Im still in awe I saw them in Philly during this show and a couple days later in AC and Philly show was the best.....being there the sound was soooooo much better along with the visuals......I fuckin love TOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Crackheads, drummers play melodies when they play melodic percussion instruments, such as in the intro of this song. If it's not Adam or Justin playing, who is it? Magic? I'm talking about the "bell sounds".
The guy has been on enough magazine covers at this point where he doesn't need to pull the hiding in shadows act anymore in my opinion. It's more fun when he engages like this.
I can't believe how the audience failed to react to that opening bass line for swamp song. It almost made me cry actually. The funny thing is, there are multiple videos from that show, but there's one you can clearly hear a girl yell I love you Maynard. I'm sick of the other three Never Getting Any Love when in all honesty they put more into it than he does.
@@cinematicsterling6897 I would absolutely lose my shit! When I saw them, they didn't even play descending. I think the rarest song I've seen them play Live was in 2001, on the first leg of the Lateralus tour they played eulogy. That's one they had already became rare at that point. I saw them play pushit in 2007. They opened with sober in 2003.

I can tell but I’d like to see a view of the whole stage, maybe from a good safe distance, roll on snare lol. Every video from this tour is the same shaky zoom and pan on the band. @@blindlemonfishbone Ah, I get you - My complaint with all these videos is that no one ever focuses on Justin, who is undoubtedly the most charismatic on stage. I love the other guys, but I wanna watch Justin dry hump his bass some more Everyone's always focused on Adam and Maynard
Maynard's voice clearly shot. That is why he is avoiding the strenuous parts and downplaying everything else. It's sad these kinds of things aren't better prevented. We will always have that recording of Sober live from way back though. Damn, those youthful vocal cords.
Maynard seems to perform vicarious the same way kicking his legs around everytime haha. Btw does anyone know who triggers Maynard’s few little over dubbed parts?
I don’t really like that he uses that effect on his voice so much these days. I think he sounded a lot better without it like he did mostly with the 2006 tour.
Shame he's not bothering with the high notes or making much effort. Seems to me he has lost interest in Tool and focuses on Puscifer. I love Puscifer and he can still clearly sing very well, just no screaming.
This song has kinda been a letdown on this tour imo. Justin, Adam and Danny kill it, but Maynard not singing that last line really kills it for me. Plus its kinda lame that he just sits through the entire song.

I love how the cameraman had to search for Maynard, because he normally literally stands on one spot the whole show
He did the same in Pittsburgh.
How could i know, i don't know ever, show. In my only live show at Rock im Park, he just stood on one place the whole show
This tour he went to different sides of the stage and walked around

Maynard just sitting down is hilarious and I don’t know why?
Ya shoulda seen him in Chicago- he dragged an amp over and sat down and rode it like a horsey.
And the way he’s kicking his feet is great haha
Did the same thing in Cleveland haha
@@jennifer9047 I know, I could not figure out what he was going to do at first, I lost it when he walked down the stairs.
He pulled his calf from doing kickboxing before the show
That last part of the song. Singing it with the crowd must be the best feeling 👏🙏
Why is Adam Jones so underrated? He's amazing at what he does
