In fact, I'll tell you the truth, I honestly felt safer walking around the streets of Myanmar rather than those of my country, Italy. It is a very beautiful country and the people I interacted with were always welcoming and hospitable. On this our two cultures are very similar :)

I almost canceled the whole trip because I'm not sure if it is safe but it's a dream trip for us and we'd love to be able to do it :-) the plan was to d 4 days in Yangon, then head to Inle lake for a couple of days (might skip that part because of conflict) and hopefully be able to do 4-5 days in Bagan and maybe Mandalay even?? Hey Luke You can Explore Kyaik Htee Yoe Pagoda in Myanmar and it's located in Mon State and You can explore Shan State and it's known for Inle Lake. I guarantee both are amazing place you can explore in myanmar.
