Most incredible is that this CGI is better than the big production of hollywood. amazing
Apple has more budget than entire countries, they could buy entire Hollywood if they wished.
Why hasnt anybody commented on this, this is a masterpeice
Probably a RUclips bug. All the other videos have hundreds of comments.
@@atheneus yeah prob
They probably opened up the comments much later
Forgot to mention that it protects its neck.
Triceratops is also notable for having no finestra openings in its thrill.
I love to listen to David Attenborough.
David Attenborough my goat
Big thanks apple tv for this show
2:20 this is flawed logic. A skull frill that protects the neck is only useful against equally sized dinosaurs that target the neck. Juveniles however are hunted by much larger animals than themselves so a frill designed to protect the neck would not protect them from being grabbed and ripped apart. Therefore even if the frill was only used for defense, there is no point in growing a large one as a juvenile, meaning that the lack of a frill as a baby is not necessarily evidence against it being solely defensive structure. Not that I believe it is solely a defensive structure. I'm sure it's also for display as well.
Great point. They likely had parents for protection so no need for the juvniles to have it.
@@trvth1sExactly, something can have one purpose, but also have mitigating circumstances at certain age ranges that make it unnecessary for that purpose. The point you made about the defense from parents is an excellent example of a mitigating circumstance.
@@matthewbadger8685 good point. A bit terrifying when you think about it. Such massive ceratopcians still had to evolve such thick frills covered in keratin. Or that Bush elephant sized stegosaurus had to evolve serrated plates covered in keratin that ran across its back.
When will this be on dvd so i can OWN IT and not have to subscribe to your survice
It will never be..
Defence and display I suspect. And those horns and the animal’s mass, you can’t tell me a T-Rex wouldn’t think twice before engaging a fully grown, healthy Triceratops.
Imagine a triceratop near you😱😱😱
For the same reason theropods have small arms.
... Anyone wanna give me thier apple tv password?
Ahh yes, the Wu Tang hypothesis.
To protect their necks from predators.
Did someone imply "intelligent design?!?!?!" Check-mate, atheists lol
Jk, but also not really
There is no 'intelligent design'. Evolution takes millions of years to create even the slightest change and the one thing the dinosaur's had was time on their side
I hope no young-earth creationist ever finds this series, I don’t want them to infest discussions about it.
There is no intelligent design.
