I owned a 95' RM25O way back when it was only a couple years old. Of the dozen or so mx bikes I've personally owned and spent some significant time on, the 95 RM250 was the strongest running. It was extremely quick... and it handled like an overloaded fuel tanker with flat tires. Really, it was incredibly vague in it's handling. I always wondered if the 125 version was like that or if it was any better.

Has to be the carb. You gas from the tank but that doesn’t mean it makes it to the motor. You have a jet clogged in that carb possibly. A quick way to tell if it’s fuel related is take off the air filter and hold throttle ope and from there shoot carb cleaner inside the carb for one second. Try to start the bike. If it tries to fire then dies it’s fuel related in the carb. If it does not fire then you have something else blocking the gas from getting to the cylinders such as a reed valve on a two stroke. On a 4 stroke it could be the valves in the head keeping it from firing

Many of my two-stroke bikes often had stuck clutch plates. I would start the bike, push the bike up to 5 mph, hop on and push it into 1st. Then ride it around for a few minutes with the clutch lever pulled in - accelerate normally until the plates break free. Should take about 2-3 minutes to free up.

The biggest things you need to do when you're working on these projects is get the proper plugs form because those E3 plugs are shit and a lot of stuff isn't made to work off of them they require a higher output to make spark to actually ignite the fuel it might spark when it's on the head like that but when it's under compression it makes a big difference moral of the story is use whatever the bike or four wheeler calls for a good NGK.

Sticky tape fixes everything didn't you know, especially when it's being used on something that needs to be sealed and if you find the epoxy is to hard and can crack after drying try black gasket goo,i had to do it to the reed valve boot on my little brother's ktm85 years ago and it can still flex

I am willing to bet that he put too many clutch disc's in there check the installed clutch thickness to see if there is just not enough throw on the throwout lever to disengage the clutch because it should spin way more freely than that, or he put the wrong kind of oil , as in car motor oil not motorcycle oil!

I dont think that white smoke from behind is very cool :D If it was blue could be ok but that is segment white. Also, the fuel/air mixture for a 50cc or 70cc dirt bike like this should be max 1 and a quarter turns not more. 3.5 is way too much my transalp 600cc is on 2.25 what about the 50cc :D
