Great video! It was fun meeting all of you! I hope Cindy is healing up. I agree with you about not doing all-inclusive in Aruba. There are so many good places to eat. Take care!
Thanks Eric!! It was nice meeting you guys as well!! Had a great time talking with you. Glad you liked the video. I’m going to do a few more from Aruba when I have the time. Take care!!!
Hi Matt - your videos are very helpful! Can you shed your thoughts on the beachfront as far as getting beach chairs, etc. it looks like it will be very crowded. Are there umbrellas if you want to sit closer to the water? Or is it just Palapas? Can u tag both beach chairs and pool chairs? Does chair tagging have to be done at 7am? Thx Matt!
You're very fortunate to afford to go to Aruba so often. My wife and I have gone 3 times so far and love it also. We thought it would be a great place to retire and even looked into it, but properties are too expensive. We'll just have to settle for going once every 4-5 years. Also, we found doing the AirBnB thing way cheaper than resorts. All in all, Aruba has so much to offer, especially if you're looking to just relax and get away from the Rat Race. Beautiful island, beautiful weather, Paradise On Earth.
Hello Matt and Rach, hope all is well.. watched all the videos of Aruba, such a beautiful Island. I myself will be going May of this year. Great reviews on all the restaurants, actually i am looking forward to having Dutch pancakes they look so good. Your tour and photos were really informative. Thanks again, By the way great catches on your deep sea fishing .
Thank you Michael! We appreciate the kind words and glad you found the videos helpful for your upcoming trip. May is a great time of year to be there for sure. The WR Michael Irvin was once on a plane with us. It’s actually in our Dallas Weekend video. Cheers 🍻!!
Looks good, will be considering this for family. If no kids check out Bucuti & Tara on the quieter beach just to the south of here (Manchebo/Eagle beach). Adult only, boutique hotel with spectacular location and service.
We just got back 3 weeks ago. It was also our 5th visit to Aruba and we've stayed at the Surf Club each time (timeshare owners). It was our first time back in 3 years. We always get the "villa" with the adjoining room. While the pool area and other amenities of the resort are still pretty awesome......the rooms, while still nice, are in definite need of renovation. The kitchen and bathrooms in particular desperately need updating!! The mattresses on the beds were very uncomfortable this time imo and that carpet they throw down in the livingroom was very old and tattered and must be 20+ years old by now. We will of course keep coming down there for years to come, but I really do think Marriott needs to do some updating with the property.
I’m going to have to agree 100% with you. My exact thoughts. That renovation has to be coming soon. Probably with a huge expense for the timeshare owners. Typically Marriott brands have to renovate every 6-7 years. Good point you made though!! Thanks for watching.
@@mattnrach2016 Wow I didn’t know that Marriott brands must renovate every 6-7 years. If that’s the case though, the Surf Club definitely has not been updated within the past 10 years at least. At least the rooms have not been updated that’s for sure lol.
Hello - thx for your review! Can u she’s more light on the beachfront? 1) It appears to be way too crowded? 2) Are there beach chairs and umbrellas available or is it just the P’s available? Thx!!
great video, i’ll be staying at the surf club in 2 days! did you find it bothersome to have to walk to the other hotels for food? and how crowded were the pools and beach during the afternoons at this time of year?
Thanks for watching Evan!! You’ll love the surf club. We don’t find it bothersome at all going to the other hotels for food. It’s always a nice walk and I always enjoy seeing the other properties on site. The pools were crowded but definitely not bad. The adult pool is relaxing and fairly quiet if that’s what you’re looking for. Have fun!!!
There are a few of them. We’ve only been to Diana’s, which we highly recommend. I do believe they changed locations since this was filmed. All of them are probably good though…can’t go wrong.
@@mattnrach2016 I understand, the video content is good and you have a friendly group. No disrespect intended just stating the wind noise makes it hard to understand the words and follow the video. A wind screen or muff may help with recording in windy situations. Good video and I love Aruba
It’s been almost two years since we were there. In short summary, nothing is really cheap. Not sure what the current prices are. You have choices though. You can go to Ruth’s Chris and get a steak or go to the sports bar and get chicken fingers.
Thank you so much for following our videos!! We were there in June (mid-June) to be exact. It’s really considered the off-season there at that time. Still were a decent amount of people but you’re right, it wasn’t too crowded.

Another great video. Again, I so much enjoy your focus on the food.
Thanks Daniel!!
Loved the video!! Thank you for the insight on Aruba for my future trip :)
Great video. We'll be there Sunday!
Have fun!

Where are best dutch pancakes in aruba near high rises

Good video until the wind noise makes it almost unwatchable
Thanks for tuning in. If you’ve ever been to Aruba you’d know that the wind is almost non-stop. I did the best I could with the equipment I had.

So it’s not all inclusive what’s the price of the breakfast place and other restaurants restaurants

Loving your videos! May I ask what month you visited? Doesn't look too busy.

Awesome video. Been to Aruba dozen times. Will be in Surf Club soon.
How much are the wristbands for the door?
Are they waterproof?
Hi Vlad, thanks for watching. I think they were about $10. They are water proof and you can reuse them each visit. Have fun in Aruba!!
Great, thanks for quick reply 😁
Can you use the Stellaris pool if you stay in the Surf Club?
That’s a great question. I think you have to use the pool in the designated area of which part of the resort you’re staying in.
Are you guys from Pennsylvania??
Yes, we are from PA
@@mattnrach2016 So am I
Where do you live??
Pittsburgh
@@mattnrach2016 Nice...I am right outside of Philly. Was this your first time in Aruba?
Cool. No it was our 5th time together
