We hope you enjoy this video where we visited the Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba--in early Dec 2019--to relax, recharge and get some much needed vitamin D. (We visited the island in the beginning of Dec right before the peak tourist season kicked in). What are some of your favorite things to see, eat or do in Aruba?
Hello preston&krista, I really enjoyed watching your Aruba vacation video. I want to plan a vacation of my own for me and my wife, and i was wondering if you could give me an idea of how much money I should bring with me aside from hotel and air fair, to be able to do all the things you both did for the week? I want to be sure I bring enough money to have as much fun as you did! ai look forward to hearing from you. Thank you and God bless!

I live in aruba and i feel like a tourist just watching this video
I have a question. Is $3,000 a month, enough to live comfortably there?

I am so here for Preston's joy for all the difficult travel. I am from the last of Kansas where constant wind is a thing. I hope you will all give natural conditions a chance.

What are your favorites? Arriving this weekend and we’re planning our days.
Amy Marshall you should go to zeerover or red fish
I’m thinking about visiting Aruba in October... I have tons of questions, do you have a way that I can get in contact with you
@@MEF774 We actually did our first night there and we loved it! Great recommendation!
What are your local food recomendations? Im going to aruba soon and I want to taste the local food, not only tourist food
Paseo has a fantastic gelato place next to Che bar. If you ever return you have to try it. Better than the drumstick I promise;))
Ah next time!
You can’t go wrong with Wendy’s Great food
Hey guys. Excellant video about Aruba! I have been to the island a number of times and thanks for showing me some restaurants to try in the future. Any thoughs on going back to the island? Chris (Vermont)
Thanks for watching. Last we checked, I think it is starting to open up again so if you can manage to find a way there, a nice beach and crystal blue water would be perfect this time of year ! :)
You guys need to go to the palm island
So much fun! But did y'all avoid snorkeling, or did I just miss that part? Been to Aruba 2x now and snorkeled almost every day. Its so beautiful!
Wow you sure packed in a lot of things.
Question, could you see yourself living there?
Do you think riding a scooter around would be safe?
I loved seeing all of the restaurants that you went to it looked so fantastic and delicious ( those pancakes wow) It seems like you really enjoyed all of your meals.
The reason I ask is we are actually moving there for my husband‘s job.
We used to live in Nassau, Bahamas and I suffered pretty badly with Island fever so I’m a little bit nervous.
The thing about Aruba is it’s proximity to South America and the fact that I’m a nature photographer. I know we would enjoy weekends away so I could photograph some pretty amazing birds that I normally wouldn’t have access to in Southern Florida where we currently live.
Thanks for your amazing video tour, at least now I’ve seen now the tourist areas which look like fun.
You guys are the cutest couple!!
Thank you!! Aruba was certainly a gorgeous island for sure. Not sure if we would live there but would be happy to visit again. If you're also safe enough, a scooter is a great way to explore!
yes venezuela is only 20 minutes by small plane .
I've lived on multiple islands in the Caribbean and I can honestly say that Aruba has been my favorite. Very friendly people, great gastronomy, easy to communicate with locals, beautiful flora and fauna, very safe island, the best and most accessible beaches, you can get by without speaking the local language because most people speak an average of 4 languages. I lived there for 5 years and I've gone back every year since leaving. I think you have nothing to worry about ;)
Great video! Going there in a few weeks! What editing program are you using? Thanks!
We love your Aruba videos. They are fun to watch!
If we stick with a regular SUV car (Kia Sportage) how far will we have to walk to the Natural Pool and Natural Bridge? And is it easy to find a place to park it to walk. We are not adverse to a hike. Just trying to justify with a family of 4 the extra cost of a UTV rental for the day. The Jeep rentals specifically state you can't take them to the Natural Pool.
We highly recommend you rent out a true 4x4 or a UTV. We had a standard SUV and got lucky getting out of some situations as it can get a bit precious with the ground and loose ground. If you want the full experience without the stress of ruining your SUV or having to cut your trip short because of it's limitations, I would recommend paying a bit more for a proper vehicle
$155 for rent for a day???? Where did u guys grab that rent? With the kind of price u make ppl be away to go to Aruba, I checked for a week a decent car for $245, ppl who wants to go the way cheapest way is rent an airbnb and some of the airbnbs rent their cars for $35 per day!!
This is a amazing video, my friend and I are traveling to Aruba next month and this is a very helpful video, thank you guys
Hope you have an epic trip!!
Great video guys and I have a better idea of Aruba
Is it a different time over?
Eduardos opened a restaurant in the strip mall where marhaba aruba is located
What was the name of the first restaurant you went to with the steak and onions?
what beach is edwardos and delphi water sports on?
Wendy's???
This is iurs on the concavaf youtube channel
I wish you included prices
What hotel is cleanest??
Do u think it'll be very different during covid times?
Not sure!
Where did you guys stay? Sorry im not able to fully tell. Which resorts/hotel
Check out our video description to see the name of the resorts/hotels we stayed at during this trip! Thanks for checking out our video :)
@@PrestonKrista I only see the Ritz, what was the first hotel? The Hilton?
As a local watching, you guys killed it. the only thing that i would say that sucks is that allot of people promote stacking rocks, that does not only eliminate places for crabs and our lizards to hide, but also is a bad look for our coasts. So please do not stack rocks.
I live here
Amazing and jealous to hear that!!
how is it now during covid? Im visiting next month!
It’s amazing but only thing u need to know is ur not aloud to be on the streets after 10pm
LOVE YOUR STUFF, HOWEVER LOSE THE GUM WHEN TALKING. NOT TRYING TO BE SNOTTY, ITS JUST JUST DISTRACTING. THX AND HOPE TO RUN ACROSS YOU TWO ON ONE OF MY TRAVELS.
OH, SORRY CAPS LOCK KEY STUCK ON... LOL
No problem and thank you for watching!!
Are you two still together? Asking for a friend

All inclusive?
No it wasn't.
No San Nicolas?
Next time!
you guys should of visited baby beach
Ah - Next time!
你老婆真美,兄台,你是华裔?老婆是混血?
You are showing only your face most of the time in videos.
Great video, but I bet, the people in Aruba did not know you came from NYC. Otherwise, you would have to undergo fourteen-day quarantine. Aruba has already 50 cases of coronavirus as of 3/29 and it just started a week ago. That video could be worrisome for certain people, but I agree this was a great escape.
Hey P.S. Really appreciate your comment especially about the circumstances for self-quarantining when visiting Aruba or other countries for that matter (which really should be avoided if at all possible). This trip to Aruba was done in early December 2019--see video description--and we've only just managed to release a video now (we are a bit slow with creating videos but do our best nonetheless). We've been self-isolating at home for the past several weeks ourselves since we live in the epicenter of coronavirus in the US, so we are fully aware of the tragedy and and severity of this crisis. We are not advocating for those to travel now and our intent for creating this video is to provide one perspective of possible ideas for a trip that one can take (in the far future) or reminisce about a trip one has taken in the past. Thanks again for sharing your comment and our hearts go out to those in Aruba and also around the world. Stay safe out there!
And it only took 1 person to make the whole island go under quarantine
我想娶你老婆!
Rent an actual jeep
We will next time!
without all the “girly” energy, especially from the guy, your videos could be watchable even…
