Hey, I appreciate that, thank you! I stumbled into carpentry kinda on accident and my path has led me to this (along with my current position as a residential estimator) This is a VERY simple house to build but I plan on building some quite complex builds in the future so I hope you stick around! I am also always trying to learn so feel free to share any advice you may have. Thanks again!
Alright well, kits are out there. You can look at Amazon. I am literally just getting going on this channel but part of my buisness plan is to sell kits. I have lots of different ideas! Do you happen to have access to tools to make your own lumber? You could always start there. You could also buy wood from a craft store.
I hand made everything. Used a table saw and jigs to rip everything down. For the sheathing i had to fill in the pockets caused by the osb manufacturing. Then I simply painted them. Had stamps made and individually stamped each and every single sheet...including all the roof sheathing that I have not shown yet! What do you think? Should I start selling material?
@@TrailerTrashAZ you can buy this stuff at hobby stores. Its a different wood than pine. Usually balsa or something like that. But I wanted my stuff cut in 2' lengths that I needed like a real job. Plus with pine you gets knots and can see the grain. Makes it more realistic.
Best shit to watch while you’re stoned. Frame on brother. I miss building houses.
🤣 will do!
I've built houses for a little over 20 years and really enjoyed the accuracy and your little scale model

This is quite relaxing
Glad you think so!
Very cool watching this whole process come together. Very excited to see roof trusses
Thanks brother!
This is amazing.
Hey, thanks 🙂
It's looking great!
Thank you!
Great job, watch all the episodes from the beginning. I wonder how you made these green boards and OSB boards for the floor?
Ripped them out of Advantech OSB...carefully lol
Is this the second taping with the stretched tape? Looks great whichever it is!!!
After the community post I did fix all the tape that got messed up. This isn't the stickyest tape...I'm learning haha. It's all good though.
Where can I get all of this material. I would love to build myself a model house

Very cool! I was wondering the same thing. Where did he find miniature 2x4's and sheets of ply? Haha
