I can’t help but feel impressed with him handling betrayal better than most of us. Just by looking at his eyes tells us how hurt she has caused him.
This scene was heartbreaking for me, but now I can see how far he's come and hours he's grown internally. I love this show and I love him so much, such a brilliant actor.

Feel this in my bones. Someone very special to me came back into my life after we fell out. She knew I had strong feelings for her, but came back to me only ever after breaking up with her boyfriend. I got happy and excited to move our relationship forward but she said she didn't want me and days later ended up with someone else and blamed me for everything. She left me again and I have to pick up the pieces of my broken heart.
I know the feeling, they leave and comeback but at one point we just have to put our foot down so they’ll stop playing with us.

I remember when this show first came out. I was in high school and a girl in my neighborhood was in middle school. She had ASD. We were both on the bus on our way home and she started telling me about it. I saw her eyes light up when she told me that the doctor (Shawn) had ASD. I rarely saw her smile genuinely but as she was talking about it her smile never left her face and her eyes were full of hope and excitement. I just listened and enjoyed the moment with her. I'm so glad they made this show

When he cries, that means the pain is so unbearable that he can’t contain it. Once he cries, pray that he is a forgiving person, because not a lot of people are willing to forgive someone who causes them pain.

It is not just a acting or something like that, it is more than that. I felt sorry for that guy, because he's not only in pain and agony but he's burning from inside you know. When a woman cries society will and definitely be on her side, but a man? It said that a real man doesn't cry. But if a man have anger, love, joy then why shouldn't he grief when he's in a devastating situation? Hats off to the actor.

It is so frightening to unlove someone after having dedicatedly loved for years, months or days, but it is truly, deeply painful to let them hurt the same feelings over and over again and end up growing hatred for the person in front.

The good doctor is a great doctor show from blue pictures television.
As a man growing in a western country, unless you are blessed with great looks, you will experience such pain at least once. At least once you will be be laughed at, or taken as second best, or not being "good enough", because every woman we ever meet, including in the media, will tell us that being a good guy, sensitive, work hard, and all of that, is the way to a woman´s heart.
Later on, some of us will find the right way, the red pill as some call it, and we will stop caring about them, and we will find our happiness where it counts, specially with non-western women. And as the year passes these western women will hit the wall and the miracle will happen: Now, after they have been ran thru multiple times, maybe with kids in tow, and definitely with faded looks, suddenly we will become "good enough". But it will be too late for them.

She's confused because she doesn't understand what's really going on here. Shaun made it sound like it was her fault but it really wasn't. It wasn't completely Shaun's fault either. But Shaun's condition makes it impossible or rather difficult for him to understand and adapt to normal everyday stuff.

That's Abandonment Trauma kicking in when Lea left. and now he's avoiding the trigger cause it gives him PTSD. but the original trauma wasnt "Lea leaving". the original trauma probably happened in infancy or early childhood. Shaun was a Surgeon. had he studied psychiatry, he would've figured it out by now. That he is no longer an infant and Doesnt need Lea for his survival. Lea didnt hurt him. Shaun's brain hurt him.

It was the Summer of my Life. I still think about her and some part of me will always love her and will be grateful that i had the chance to meet her. In this half a year i learnded one thing. Some day i want to love again. It can hurt like now but i dont want to give up. I want to love somebody again. I know its painful and not one of my word will ease this pain. Take your time no matter how long it takes. I too will take my time. It can take months or even years who knows. But even if i dont know you, i know this: One Day you will love again.
