Yeah, I soloed Cessna 150 N3832J on Sept. 9th 1970 in real life. So when this RC 150 came available I had to get it for reasons you've discussed. Hope you enjoy both your Cessna 150s.
Speaking of Qurkes, the front wheel assembly is the hardest part of the assembly yet none of the assembly videos actually show the hook up to the servo from Rudder and Gear. With the overhead shot you were using, I hoped you would address the issue and show that part of the assembly. The Servo can strip easily also if the throws are not just right on the rudder. Front wheel is weak at best. Flew mine twice before I had to order another servo and re-rig the wheel. She's a fun bird when you fix the Qurkes. Mine is two years old so I don't know what version it is. PS. That was one heck of a fast build. LOL! Thanks for the effort.
I flew my Carbon Z Cessna until I wore it out. That top hatch is a big problem, I lost several before I came up with a velcro fix. Looking forward to the flight video.
Enjoyed this video. Much detail on this model and I’m thinking of picking one up tomorrow at a local hobby store. They have one in stock but I just want to make sure of the units manufacture date. I bought an EC1500 twin there and it’s got some older parts with it like the prop hardware. I called Horizon and they are sending an upgraded set of prop hardware that’s better designed to keep the props on while flying (kinda important) and stronger, 7075 alu instead of 6061 grade and at no cost n free ship! So, appreciate the in-site on this. Your experience in model RC is invaluable to me, thanks. P.S. I’m also a full scale pilot, Private Pilot (VMC only, sing-eng, small aircraft) and have flown the C150 (1966 w/ full 40 deg flaps) many times.....love it. GOOD DAY!
Truthfully, I don't think that the glue was yellow because it is cheap, i think personally they used epoxy. As it also yellows once its dry. Or atleast aircraft epoxy that is.
Great video but I have to ask you a very important question. Do the wings come off easily for transportation purposes or are they on for pretty much good unless technical difficulties occur? TIA
well since the FAA/AMA is ruining the Hobby, these larger aircraft will soon be obsolete for me...sadly, as I would love to have one..But will no longer fly anything above 250 grams it appears . But a GREAT Video
What is that thing stuck to the battery? Some kind of charged/discharged indicator? Where to find those? Been looking for something like that for a while now.
At that price point, I would consider this plane a fail. Multiple out of the box issues, and the discolored glue is hideous. Hopefully this was the older kit. How did you correct the top hatch not latching closed? Update us when you fix the wing brace issue. I’m interested to see how you fix it!
I have not attempted it yet, but i have discovered that they filled the mounting hole with a white silicone. This is why it is not aligned right. it should have had a clean casting hole like the other side. i will have to carve all that crap out of it to get a chance to fix it and likely fill it back up with some filler.

Those ''Pods'' you mentioned, covering the wheels, strangely enough are called "Wheel Pants".
One of the easiest plane to fly you will enjoy flying this one nice video 🛬😀
This is awesome !! Love this model 👍

Yes I highly recommend this model, i really enjoy flying it. Wish E-flite would bring back the T-28 2000mm 78"

Came here to see the plane ✈️ to gauge the box dimensions for the Draco. and that box is crazy huge 🥺🤪🥰

I love my Cessna Carbon Z!!!! Please watching my videos in Brazil. It's the only in my Land.
Thank you for the build
Wanting a new transmitter but I'm stuck between the ix12 and nx10 spektrums which would you get? Also seen alot of reviews on radiomaster tx16
Great Video, ! Can you tell us, is this the old Carbon Z Model or the New Carbon Z Model? I think a newer model was just released
This is the older. They make the Cessna and the cub versions now.

Looks home built to me....
