Lipo bags are junk. Check. Imagine using a 4-6s 7000+…

I keep all batteries separate. I double bag each battery then I store them in a fire box lined with cement backer board. I never tested my setup but I feel very secure. I also keep a bucket on sand if I need to smother a lipo fire.

need to replace to foam wheel, its worn out. i removed the hex screw at the bottom of the gear strut, but still cant get that thing out.... any tips???

The second they said they were using Cannon fuse to "simulate a lipo" I stopped watching this garbage. This video is useless. A lithium cell will build pressure and puff before the cell ruptures. So think of it like a bomb when it bursts which could blow apart the bag. Then you also got the fire. Additionally, lithium fires produce their own oxygen so it will burn even under water. NOTHING puts outa lithium fire. You just let it burn itself out. Then there's the temperature difference. Lithium burns a lot hotter than a Canon fuse and faster. Then there is also the massive cloud of toxic smoke blocking your vision.

Just use an old ammo box with some holes drilled in on top. They are tested far more extrem than this 😂

Who the best e flite or fms

I have the Derblue and I swear by them. I had an 6s go off while charging and nothing but the bag was damaged. When they’re new they’re stiff once they loosen up they seal more than enough to contain any fire. But not so much that it doesn’t let smoke out.

I bought the one that has the 30 amp esc hobbywing skywalker brand and 4900kv 11 blade fan. And under arm launch no problem whatsoever it takes off flies and lands perfectly flat if you set everything up correctly and im a novice. Its a great jet has a lot of speed and im getting 5 more including an f35 thats how good these are 👌🏼

Sorry, I don’t buy into cannon fuse replicating a lipo battery fire? A lot of fire extinguishers don’t even control a lipo battery fire, it is chemical! it burns hotter!

Cant really rely on this video because yhey never used an actual lipo.

I like Dynam planes. I’ve had good experiences with them. I saw it tail heavy, and it was more noticeable during the first landing. I always start nose-heavy to start with a stable flight, and then slide the CG a little aft if I have to.

can you explain how to do the CG on this, its way too tail heavy when i flew it. I am using 4s 3200 Lipo

If you look closely just after takeoff, you can see the decals explode into confetti. It's funny, as I was watching, I thought at first it was birds in the background. Then I thought about what he said about the decals being junk....and I thought, hey that must have been them.

What you want to do is high alpha. When you come in, do a high alpha, pass high above the runway. Then come in with a high alpha approach, the main gear first, then land the front gear like a butter fly with sore feat...simple😁

Actually, I have a belly lander, and all of the thrust is sucked from the bottom. Not through that front scoop. All that does is hold the gear on. And maybe cool the battery. Land it on concrete on a smooth, hard surface the plane wears out, or you crash it anyway. P S this is after the gear will not stay on, lol. 200+ flights for me.

When car battery pack fails it burns more then 2 sec.. what about big burns test?

If it's not CellBlockFCS it's not going to hold up. I see these cheap battery bags destroyed with real Lithium Batteries for tools or e-scooters or e-bikes all the time. They aren't going to hold for a higher watt hour battery. You get what you pay for.

Check out some of the other videos out there testing these bags. Real lipo batteries burn much hotter and longer and completely render these flimsy bags USELESS.

I would have not minded even the rubbish ones when I had a fire at home. The batteries flew about the place and yeah, anything would have helped.

I'm old school so I have stuck with my 8 Logitech FIP's, and Dual Radio Stack. I'm using the Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo controls so I have Mag's, Switches, Gear, Flaps, AP etc all covered. I prefer the analogue setup. Personal preference, but I got my PPL back in the early 90's. We didn't have all this glass stuff back then. Maybe an early model handheld GPS (Garmin 90) which was frowned upon by my instructor as cheating. We learnt to navigate the hard way. DR, paper charts, a watch, pencil and a basic flight computer. Pays off when the GPS batteries go flat.

Problem with the bags is if you store more than one battery and one ignites I don’t think they will hold up.
