I'm not the biggest fan of sao. But I can't deny this song is awesome.
Me neither. It had it's moments but I just couldn't get into it. This song is so good and every time I see it I always wonder how cool it would be to run at someone with a sword and deflect their shots away. (I really need this feeling in a game)

I don´t know why but this opening gives me more Nostalgia than Crossing Field, even though I had a much better experience watching the first season than the second. Not saying the 2nd is worse, I just watched the whole first in one day and it was one of my first anime.
Alfheim arc of the first season was trash tho. Ngl.

@@ittobestguy2254 ikr. It had SOOOOO much potential. Just completely bombed it by like jumping a year or so every episode that they were actually in sao.
I think that while sao had its flaws, I really liked how ggo and aliciaztion went more into depth about the laughing coffin guild. It was kind of ignored in sao, and it felt like there were whole episodes missing from the show. I really found it interesting how members of the laughing coffin were still out there, still all murderous and power hungry. They made good villains imo
The only thing I didn't like in Sao 2 and alicozation was the lack of asuna action

I really oughta read the sao light novels/Manga to get more depth from the story Lol. same withal the ATLA comics.

I like this created extended version you’ve made. The best part is right when the second chorus starts and Kirito comes out swinging his saber. That part awakened my spirit animal and my subconscious arose from the depths of purgatory and sprouted into eternity and I don’t know what I’m saying but this song gives me the feels.

I dont really understand why people dislike the SAO II. I kinda liked it and enjoyed the GGO part. Sometimes its better to try it than use reviews as basis. This song really matched the hype during the GGO part.

Can't lie when ppl say SAO is mid or bad I completely disagree. No its not the best anime out there but its honestly a gamers paradise. This is something that every gamer dreams of happening on day, and I'm all for the concept. The ops slap and the characters are great. Nothing short of greatness imo
2:15 was the original scene for the op, its one of the best motion and song choreography anime op, dope as hell. From Kirito's sword fight, all the jumps and somersaults and swings are really good and i have to say the graphics from this verse is all on pace with the music, the switch from the fight to sinon's Hectare ll throw out shot was excellent and then fight at night, and finally transiting to fighting the skeleton guy, the flips and jumps are well animated not too fast yet captivating, its a pity that it did not get to show in the series.

This song really emphasizes my biggest pet peeve with Japanese songs/anime openings: there usually isn’t enough bass. This song has such an amazing bass guitar line but I can barely hear it, like you’d need really bass heavy headphones to hear it
