Dude I never realized that was him omg! I've been a deadhead since way back so I know about col Bruce. Did you know Mickey Jones playing guitar here played drums with Kenny Rogers on that tune 'just dropped in ' that was in the big Lebowski? I just found that out yesterday & now I find this out, my grandpa said you learn something new every day if you're lucky
He and Duane Allman were very close. If it wasn't for Duane, he likely wouldn't be in this movie. Why? Duane pushed him to push on with his band and to he a musician. Much like he did with everyone. He put that fire in you.
3:12 - is so cute. It's just Dwight Yoakam playing with musicians for Lucas Black. Rip Colonel Bruce Sheridan "LEAVIN' HIS SOULLL!" and Rick Dial "Dammit Scooter c'mon! 'Scuse my language miss."
Saw an interview where he was asked about having to perform that way and he said it was hard to do. Years of touring. Performing..muscle memory says he’s right about it…
when i feel crappy about my guitar playing, i go back and watch that one lol, the singer is about as good as the one i had in high school haha, boy was that stuff God awful :) this one is a laugh. thanks for watching !
Hearing those lyrics put to music was the HIGHLIGHT of my year. Wow 😂🤣🍪🎸
One of my all time favorite movies and I have never seen this. Love it
I saw Col Bruce Hampton a few times in Valdosta,GA right before he died.Definitely an original and a great musician.

@brianjansen3103 John Bell from Widespread Panic was supposed to be in this scene but they couldn't get schedules to mesh.

Bakin the cookies of discontent. That's deep. Mighty deep.
‘Doing away with license plates’ truly caused me to reflect….
Hell yeah! I love that band! Doyle Hardgrave is my hero!
It's priceless seeing Dwight Yoakam play a crappy "musician"

To try n sing and play off key when you're a good musician, incrediblely difficult
Love ol Yoakam 🎵
Love the kid checking out the drums….
I relate. 😊
Turns out they did have a FUCKIN MICROPHONE
If y'all don't shut up I'm gonna go outta my mind plus Karl's liable to bust a spring he's already off balance!
Dots look good on paper
This movie has to be thee most hilarious 😂 of them all
Holy shit that first clip is too funny. Yeah but Doyle is dead 😂😂

This is priceless!! Pure Gold
Great scene, just goes to show that Doyle was the one holding back the band the whole time and ironically, with him gone, the band starts to succeed.
the dots are where i say they are
Sounds like a bob Dylan original
He didn't sing the dot dot dots
I could watch a whole movie on Doyle and his crappy band.
I'm just kidding you. Welcome to our humble home buddy.
That was a good scene! They should've added that
"we ain't got no band.!!!!!!!!!!" 🤬
Dwight playing a terrible musician is absolutely fantastic lol.
I never saw this before! Hilarious!
Was this after the credits or something?
Col Bruce!!!
Ian Moore is an AWESOME. In reality
alright den
I love it lol.
They definitely could have re-cut this movie as a comedy.
We ain’t got no goddamn band Randy!!!
They need some paying gigs
What was the band named?
Lol
Country legend like he is having to play a wannabe drunken abuser. And play crappy. Had to be hard to do for him.
