What I like the most about your setup is that as a result of deviating from the expensive solutions seen all across RUclips, and instead looking at simple IKEA components, it absolutely stands out as original and creative. Great work!
@@hikeskool Maybe if that's what you're looking up, but in my experience after randomly watching a couple of desk setup videos, my recommendations are now 90% hyper-expensive setups, where the desk shelf alone is the order of hundreds dollars. Why shouldn't I leave my opinion? You're welcome to yours, as long as you don't insinuate mine is invalid just based on your individual experience, which is as valid as mine.
Just curious do you own a pc? Ive been thinking about buying one for work because the macbook o have right now isnt that good and ive heard its pretty good
Thank you👊 I got the Alex drawers a while back so I’m guessing they have discontinued that colour. Don’t really understand why they’ve done that🤦♂️ the new grey-turquoise colour might still work well. Seems to be the only dark option they’re offering right now
I was on about the desk itself not the things on it😂😂 Studio Display is definitely not budget friendly… unless you compare it to the £6000 Pro Display XDR🤣
Already had them but I didn’t have any kind of desk setup. Wanted something where I could show off the products on the channel but didn’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. This IKEA setup was the perfect solution!
Well if you consider how limited the market is in terms of 5K displays. Just the build quality of the studio display alone makes it the best value for money display by far
Great setup! Where does the table top sit on? I mean, is there a specific product from IKEA which is suitable with the table top, or did you manage it by yourself?
First of all, love the aesthetics of this setup. Secondly, you mention that the horizontal scroll wheel on the MX master is one of the reasons why you love that mouse compared to the Apple Magic Mouse, but the Magic Mouse does the horizontal scrolling too -- I would even say that the scrolling experience on the Magic Mouse is better due to being buttery smooth. To me, the MX Master is great because of better ergonomics and the customizable buttons. Otherwise, great video!
I have a leg in the middle of the desk to prevent this happening. IKEA sell this table top with pre installed holes in the middle so you can attach a leg easily👍
Thats a smart setup bro. How did you manage to fix the LACK shelf on the table? Screwed them or used some adhesive ? is it sturdy enough to handle minor shakes to the table?
Thanks, I was thinking of returning my 14 and get the 16.. however it makes sense to have the small 14 and a big monitor. Seems to be best of both worlds. I find the 14 a bit too small for photo editing without a monitor attached @@NicoSDemitri
😭😭 feel like I should’ve made it clear that it’s the actual desk and space that is budget friendly. I had all the tech prior to the setup being put together and I wanted a space for it all without spending loads of money on furniture and decor. Think I’ve managed to do it all only spending hundreds as opposed to thousands.

great set up! love the simple but modern style..thanks for sharing!
Thank you 🙏
I’m so thankful I saw this as I was having a problem with my monitor riser. It was too small.
Thank u for this great hack!
No problem, glad this helped!
Love your setup. Budget desk and awesome riser. All your tech is awesome. Looking SUPER GOOD.
Thanks man, appreciate the comment👍
Your taste is outstanding. And you didn't touch the bank. VERY good taste. I can watch this video over and over again. Thank you.
Once again a great video! Love the production.
Thanks for watching and dropping a comment👊
Today i saw your video and today i bought table top from ikea it was a great idea
Glad the video helped!
Really love the simple thick desk shelf 👌
Great setup! Can you share that Plant pods Stand one on Right side? Such a great design!
Just found your channel, incredible ideas and aesthetic!!! What feet did you use for the Lack riser?
Great video and setup. What is the (floor?) lamp that holds the Philips smart bulb?
Thank youuu! Here’s the link to mine… www.next.co.uk/style/st184601/163276
@@NicoSDemitri thank you so much!
@SpideyPan No problem👊
how did you manage the wires? coz from behind the shelf its not possible
Great video!! Did you not need a supporting leg in the middle of the desk to prevent sag?
Yeah there is a leg in the middle👍
@@NicoSDemitri how did you get the middle leg to line up with the drawers? I would think the spaces/feet would cause them to be different heights?
Great video mate
Thank youuu 👍
Nice setup mate, just one curious question, is not moving floating desk and overlayer with only that feet?
Love the set up & every shot in this video is so fresh and clean 🔥 Would love to see a studio tour video! Can’t wait to see your channel grow
Thank youuu🤪
Another world class video 🔥
Appreciate it👊 content is going to a get a lot better very soon👀
Another Banger 🔥🔥
Thank you!!👊
Studio looks amazing. What about the wood paneling on the wall? Where did you get that? Really ties everything together.
Thank you! Appreciate the comment👊 Panels are from The Wood Veneer Hub… great company👌
I keep loving this video style
Appreciate you watching bro 🙏
Just curious do you own a pc? Ive been thinking about buying one for work because the macbook o have right now isnt that good and ive heard its pretty good
Don't own one yet. It is something i've been thinking of investing in though so might have to start looking into it soon!
Stunning setup. How did you manage to get black Alex draws? They don't seem to be available in the UK?
Thank you👊 I got the Alex drawers a while back so I’m guessing they have discontinued that colour. Don’t really understand why they’ve done that🤦♂️ the new grey-turquoise colour might still work well. Seems to be the only dark option they’re offering right now
hey nico would you get the current airpod max or wait for the usb-c ones
This is by far my favorite aesthetic setup. Holy s#%t
Thanks for the comment mate, really appreciate it👊
This is a great video, gave me lots of ideas!🔥
Thank youuu!🙏 Glad it’s helped!
Beautiful setup
Thank you!
How did you attach the feet to the lack shelf? Adhesive or screws? What kind of adhesive?
Literally just used blu tack and it worked perfectly
That desk setup is exactly what i want in my new house. Thanks for the inspiration. Great video and content!

So random but what black paint did you use on your wall?
Pretty sure it was this one… www.diy.com/departments/dulux-walls-ceilings-rich-black-matt-emulsion-paint-2-5l/183940_BQ.prd

Why spend so much time on the apple products (and Logitech accessories) when they are not part of the budget desk set up?

If you are using the Lagkapten table top, the Alex drawers have the option of attaching the Lagkapten.

Thanks bro👊 I went for adhesive. Put four feet on the four corners of the shelf and is perfectly sturdy. No issues whatsoever👍
@@NicoSDemitrisorry, you put adhesive on the bottom of the four eket feet on the bottom of the shelf? Which adhesive did you use? Double sided tape?
Yeah, only took a bit on each corner to stop it from moving completely
