FYI, South Carolina has a state law. If you stay for 90 days, you are considered a short-term tenant. You do not have to pay the hotel fees or resort fees, which are about 12 or 13 percent. Great deal!
@ripriff4871 it's done automatically by the company or person who rents the property to you. I rent through Elliotts Property Management as a snowbird and they do it. When you go to their website and look at snowbird properties and you put in dates over 90 days it doesn't charge you the fees.
Hello Carmen & Brian, We just left North Myrtle Beach - stayed at Wyndham Cottages and had a great week! Martinis Restaurant has the best prime rib ever! A local favorite!
Yes, as always and thoroughly enjoyed the Carolina Opry Christmas show. We also were there for the Christmas parade on Main Street, NMB. My wife said maybe we will see Carmen and Brian here! 😊
It is the start of vacation. The sun burns at the beach so watch your time in the sun. The water is still cool for swimming. You get the joy of a great vacation, but without all the crowds. I would say things are beginning to ramp up for the season. In my opinion January is the best month. It's mostly empty of visitors. It's 30 at sunrise and 65 by 11am. The restaurants are super friendly and more personal without the crowds. You'll have no regrets unless you have little kids
It depends on what you're looking for. If you search on our channel page you will find a video about the month of May. There are two large motorcycle festivals and late May you have memorial day weekend which brings huge crowds. It really all depends on what you're looking for when you visit.

I’ve heard the hotels are dirt cheap
Some definitely have great rates in the winter!
The purpose of you tube is to film different things. I will be there in January and February 2025. Staying at crescent shores hope to play golf.
We hope you enjoy your stay!
@ thanks for the great feedback
👍👍👍😊
The only cons are the horribly terrible drivers, but that's all year long and paid parking all year long.
We enjoy the winter because there is so little traffic compared to normal.
