I'd like to melodramatically dedicate this to my Taylor, which is starting to show signs of age, after 8 years of playing it constantly. The power jack is broken (I'm using a mic for the audio you hear in this video, hope it sounds passable), the frets are worn out, and the finish is grungy. It's been through a lot... I probably won't be playing it in later videos :(
I'd also like to dedicate this to Highlander, the single greatest movie to grace us mere mortals. It won the academy award. For what? Best movie ever made.
I'd thirdly like to dedicate this to increasingly hot weather, and the sweaty impact it has on my fingers. My room has become a humid mess.
I'll have a tab for this soon.

Dude! Nice lessons! For example my self I was searching lessons and Im more interesting in that. So I had to scroll down looking for 'tutorials '. Instead u could make two different playlists ,one with 'COVERS' another with 'TUTORIALS' that would be awesome! Keep it up!

Hi Daniel i wanted to ask what could be the perfect Adjustment/combination of Equalizer on pick up?
If I'm playing live, I'll usually turn the bass down lower than the mids and highs to try avoiding feedback. When I'm at home recording, I usually max everything out if I'm playing on my Taylor, but my new Donner guitar sounds better with some lower bass. It's really a matter of preference depending on what sounds good to you, personally.

What is the microphone you used to record this? I can only see the shadow, so I'm guessing it is a small diaphragm condenser mic? Maybe?
It's an "Audio Technica 2020 usb" so it plugs into the computer and I record it through Logic Pro X, where I also tweak the tone a little. I got it years and years ago, so it's deteriorated a bit and there's a fair amount of white noise/static whenever I use it.
Ah, I see. I assume you use some sort of noise reduction in post as well as your reverb and eq? I don't notice much noise in the video.
Actually, for this video/song, I don't remember adding any noise reduction. I normally don't use it (since I plug my guitar straight into my computer via a guitar interface)
