This worked! I hope and pray it's a lasting change so I don't have to continually to do this. I've had it less than 10 days and have kept it safe so it's definitely an internal problem. Thank you for posting!

Have you tried it and solved the peoblem forever !! because as far as i know it is hardware problem , if the phone gets cold ,or you take it on flight , the speakers fails and make distortion unless you eject the sim tray ! try to put in freezer to geta cold and you will check

@@mostafasrag0 I've returned the phone and now have the s21fe. The battery life and small issues like this were just too terrible with the s22 to spend that much $$. I got basically the same phone with a slightly larger screen and battery for $200 less. Definitely recommend the s21 fe. I've not had ANY issues with this phone so far like I did with the s22. Please NO one put your phone in the freezer. Don't ever do that.

The distortion is not a software problem, it is a hardware problem. The issue is with pressure changes and no ability for the sealed phone to equalize pressure readily. Ejecting the Sim tray will fix it until pressure changes again. Samsung, where are you on this???

Bought my phone in June 2022 and I started noticing the problem when the temperature dropped in November. After reading a number of fixes I tried a suggestion that seemed wacky!
Someone suggested removing the "Camera Lens Protector", funny enough IT WORKED!!!!
Tested it by leaving my phone outside for 1/2 hr in -5c and the speaker sounded perfect.

Put the phone down afterwards for a while and when i came back to the phone it had the sound issue. When i cane acrros this comment i took it off and the problem went away. Thanks so much. Easiest fix is to remove the camera lense protector. The hole for pressure equalization is in one of the lower lense. Try to suck the lower camera while playing music. It brakes the sound of the music.

There is a rubber seal around the sim tray that pressurizes the phone. You can use a butter knife to gently cut off a small piece of the outer flap on the grey rubber Sim card tray seal but you may lose some of the waterproof capability in that specific area however that seemed to take care of it..
i played a song with my phone speaker towards the freezer fan and within about 90 seconds it started crackling real bad. Popped sim out and fixed instantly. So I decided to take matters into my own hands, because I happen to really like this phone a lot. After cutting a little bit of the extra rubber, I took my phone back to the freezer and let a 5 minute song play, and the mission was a success! If you are concered about warranty you could always buy another tray online and save it in your junk drawer.
It's a Grey rubber seal, don't remove all of it just cut off some of that extra foreskin that goes around it. Hope it helps.

THIS IS HAPPENING BECAUSE YOU HAVE A CAMERA LENS PROTECTOR ON. AIR NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO GO IN AND OUT THROUGH THE LENS. YOU'RE BLOCKING IT!!! DON'T BELIEVE ME? TRY SUCKING ON THE BOTTOM TWO LENSES WHILE MUSIC IS PLAYING.

Iam facing the same issue as mentioned. Got the phone 3 days before and had a ride on Bike for 100Km at high altitude. I just took phone out to make a call and bhoom !! Speakers' weren't wroking and were producing very annoying sound. I had a idea that may be its because of some physics like frequency match up etc. Tried everything but of no use, although got little bit of sound back but its not to that point yet. Very disappointed how brand like samsung does such blunders 🥲
