Hi John, yeah a front end alignment is required after the spacer lift. I have another video on coil overs and had to get another alignment done since the geometry of the suspension changes whenever you lift or lower.
Thanks man, really appreciate the support! Next video will be replacing my eBay Z71 badging with the legit GM version and a bonus mod of blacking out the chrome trim around the fogs.
@@JasonSmith883 lol it’s tough. I’m having a difficult time between either not getting a video completed or sacrificing quality. I’m trying to post a video per week in my quest for 1000 subscribers. I’ll attempt to keep it up but I might fall back to a video every two weeks. Keep up the work. It’s motivating to see others in the same boat haha.
@@DustinFaddis thanks Dustin and I hear you man. I originally was hoping to upload twice a week but realized that was too much to take on right now. Definitely don’t sacrifice quality because in the end the quality is what matters the most.
Hey Jay, maybe you can help me out. I have a 2005 Chevy Colorado, Z71 4x4, Crew Cab 3.5 L Vortec. I am debating putting on a leveling kit but the rear is at about 36inches from ground to center wheel well and the front is a little over 34.5inches same measure. So, a leveling kit offered from a near by store would install a front 2.5inch leveling kit on the front. That would now make the front higher than the back. Doesn’t that defeat the point of leveling? Thanks!
Just had my Colorado do looks great . It give the truck a new look
What size are your tires?
Hi Jason did you have to get a front end alignment after you installed the kit . Thank you John

Do you have to run wheel spacers with oem wheels with this kit?
Nope. Only if you want your wheels to poke out from the side of the truck
Another good video Jason. What are you planning to do next?

@@JasonSmith883 awesome, looking forward to watching. It’s tough keeping the videos rolling while working haha
LOL, that is so true. I filmed this video last weekend and edited it throughout the week after work and life.

After the installation is complete, do you need to do four-wheel alignment?
Definitely need an alignment.
Jason my Rough Country leveling kit didn't come with 17mm bolts for the top of the strut tower. Can I reuse the 18mm factory bolts?
Unfortunately no. They’d be too short to secure the strut with the leveling puck sitting on top.
Really would have liked to see a picture of the truck after you got finished

Sounds like your back struts or springs might be worn out causing them to sag.
Where did you get all the parts
Different places. My two most recent videos have a list of my mods that you can use to google where to get them.
Cool Video! Anyone have issues with CV angles?
Thanks! CV angles are not really an issue with a 2” level or less. I’ve heard about them being a problem with 3”+ lifts
How the kit ?
It’s good truck still feels stock so you barely notice it’s there besides the extra height in the front
You didnt show shit on how to install the actual Lift onto the struts
