I decided to give these guys typings as I watched for fun, I love all your work Kasey! I absolutely adore your character designs! 1. Ground/Grass Probably a Pokémon you get earlier on, but still insanely good if you put the time in. 2. Rock/Water This one feels like a middle stage evolution, for a starter maybe? Idk you be the judge lmao 3. Grass/Fighting I had to look up what an yuzu fruit is for this one and with such a lumpy sour/bitter fruit, fighting won out for secondary typing. I considered Poison for it but I like Fighting better. 4. Ground I didn’t feel dual typing was necessary for this guy bc he probably evolves into something with dual typing anyways. Maybe something like Ground/Fairy for an evo? 5. Ground/Poison This one I feel is pretty self explanatory, it’s a sloth with compost on it; ground for the sloth bit and poison for all the rotting crap on its back. 6. Psychic/Fairy I had to Google passion fruit for one, and honestly I just gave it Psychic typing bc that’s what Exeggcute is. Fairy felt pretty appropriate for this one but I have no clue as to why? Just a gut feeling. 7. Flying/Psychic I feel like 6 could definitely evolve into this one, or least share an evo chain with it? Anyways it’s a bird so obvi it gets flying, and psychic bc I imagine it has some sort of psychic energy holding the egg innards together in some weird way. 8. Grass/Water This guy is very frog coded and I feel like Grass/Water is very fitting for a frog Pokémon. 9. Fire/Fairy It’s a s’more Pokémon, you can’t tell me that it WOULDNT be a fire type! Plus fairy bc it’s cute and I think it fits bc it’s floating with lil clouds around it.
I like to imagine that the totally not muk pokemon evolves if you feed him enough berries but the only difference is that he gets a little hibiscus flower on his head
The first creature remind me of a spoonbill, a real bird. I’d love for you to research these birds, it would be really helpful in refining your creature into a workable concept for the Pokemon world.
Okay, but that "passionfruit" inspired Egg Blob Cluster of friends reminded me of the ultrasounds of my PCOS ovaries, and now this group of little guys are my new Spirit Animal Mascot Thingy. 😂 Thank you for this.
