I love the idea of the paint critter being too scary so they put a sticky note on its face
For the eraser squid you can always have the sketch scouts go to an aquarium for whatever reason.
Anyway I love your webcomic and you designing creatures for it was fun to watch! ^^
The paint creature would be a good slug/snail I think! The paint bucket could be a shell and when they move around they could leave a paint trail :)
What if the eraser squid made ink that worked like an eraser, or maybe invisible ink? The scouts could be learning/talking about the ways different art mediums are made/harvested!
The eraser squid reminds me of the ability a lot of squids have for camouflage: “erasing” their environment to camouflage maybe? Maybe the Sketch Scouts could have an adventure to a pond (it’s your world, squids can live in ponds!) and meet this lil creature? Or maybe an aquarium trip? :0 so many possibilities! I love your creations!
Really fun to see all the different version you come up with! Wish I was that creative. The paint creature is my favorite.

The pencil creature‘s face sharpening could work a bit like rodent teeth that keep growing and are sharpened by the stuff they eat. Maybe their diet also changes as they get older, the flat-nosed drats eating softer foods or maybe even being fed by older ones since they need pointy noses to pick food up… or maybe to burrow and dig like some birds to
If in this world, paint is natural- The paint brush creatures could be common pets that are fed paint water where they drink the water and "recycle" the paint
Maybe they run out of ink and the squid eraser also inks like normal squids…. Lake of ink? Flying squid? Magical mythical rare creature in the world? You’re so creative and inspiring Kasey! 🥰

Another Idea for the paint animal.. maybe it could be like a paint slug?? :D
Maybe the third paintbrush monster brings to mind that brush-doggy that brushes away Alice's path, and then she's all sad and lost and lonely and stuff.
For the squid creature, maybe it could be encountered during an aquarium trip? Instead of ink it could release a cloud of eraser-shavings that erase the things that swim through it?

The sketch scouts could visit the aquarium! Eraser squid, paint brush whale creatures and paint moray eels :D possibly a mechanical drat to clean the tank?
1) Maybe the lil pencil guys shed and their face gets sharper!
2) A dimotrodon or even a spinosaurus based paint brush dude would be cool! You could have the bristles be the teeth and it feeds like a whale does!

Hullo Kasey, I do enjoy this kind of video, it does remind me of the Prompt series! I wish I had been involved with the drawing of prompts along with you, but that is just not my jam. I believe you inspired many many people and I WISH YOU WOULD COMPLETE THAT SERIES! Ah well stupid caps lock key! I suppose it does convey my feelings about that series. Please consider it seriously.
The squid eraser could be in an aquarium that the scouts come to visit

honestly when it came to the eraser idea, the last idea after the squid, the bear like creature caught my eye. It kinda looks like one of those really flat erasers, but it looked like a bear and well, bears like to rub their backs against trees. So what if these bears rubbed their eraser backs against certain trees and it like rubbed away the tree? or something along the lines of leaving some kind of a mark, that these eraser bears had been nearby! Just a lil idea if you dont use the squid and instead need a land creature

I like the idea of the pencil dragon thing scooting his butt eraser on the floor when he's got an itch. I bet his butt eraser leaves those horrible erased stained marks when the eraser is too hard. 😖😖😖 Hate those old erasers!!!!!

I used to make those erasers into squids all the time! (I cut the bottom part into little strips.)

Maybe the brush one can like clean and feed of eraser dust or pencil shavings like plankton for a whale and i think the Dino was called a spino(?) I like your creativity i want to start with a comic but i feel like im too underdevelopped in my art skills yet anyway love the vid kasey❤
And maybe the eraser could be like a tortoise with a pink eraser shell that is a very slow but effective eraser 😊
