This has happened to me when I was about to explore the aurora, and it was 2:00 AM irl. It creeped me out and I also heard reaper sounds in the distance. After I came back, my cyclops was unpowered because all the battery was used up. So I had to go back in my seamoth. Then, a reaper got me out of nowhere, it scared the shit out of me. And I’ve visited that area many times before. It just shows how scary this game really is.
So alot of people have mentioned that the seamoth does not say this. I know this as a massive subnautica fan. I can't explain this or tell you why it happened. It's physically not possible to edit the video in a way to sound like this (to my awarenesses). I'm sorry if anyone thinks that it's fake. I'm currently Scouring the internet for another case like this or a answer to why or how this has happened. I'll tell everyone if I find a solution
it could be voice line code from prealpha that somehow was forgetten, because it triggers very rarely. From the sound of it, it was slowed down, while rest of the game functioned at normal speed. Also, Seamoth dont has this Line, but Cyclops has. So its probably rather connected to Cyclops than to Seamoth. Would say its a game glitch, that you caused when you first left through the hatch, but immediatly got back in to leave Cyclops via Seamoth. When you left the ship, the Hatch in the front was still open. Would say the Game wasnt prepared for a scenario where you leave the ship, but not leave the hatch-area before getting back in. After watching again im pretty sure thats the reason. For Cyclops you never fully left the ship via Hatch (thats why he didnt welcomed you, when you get back in) and you still had this watery soundeffect that plays in the process of entering/leaving a ship/base. When you left via Seamoth, it probably caused a Code interference from "if player enters ship, play voiceline" and "player leaves ship, using docked Vehicle" scripts. You were inside and outside of the Ship at the same time and that confused the Gameengine. In the end, the Engine closed Hatch and Dock, maybe running the "if player enters ship, play voiceline" script in the background to solve the problem but the last bit of the now hidden script somehow lost its hidden aspect, giving you the distorted sentence. If my Thought is correct, your Decision to leave the ship for a second before getting back in, was the initial cause.

I had a even more cursed Seamoth. It was in my Cyclops but as soon as I was driving the whole Cyclops wobble an was driving with the top 45° up After about 1000 metres the Seamoth has disappeared but was still on the control panel. After putting my prawnsuit in, there was the Seamoth interface below the one of my prawnsuit and after docking the prawnsuit off the interface said no vehicles docked and below that "Seamoth" Kinda weird I was so confused that I reload my save file and destroyed my seamoth and build a new one
It sounds like the audio was already bugging out from you exiting and then quickly re-entering the Cyclops. Game could have gotten caught up with how much audio it can play and that somehow tripped it up enough to give you that "A L L S Y S T E M S O N L I N E" If I remember right, the Cyclops is meant to greet you with "Welcome aboard Captain, *all systems online*", but it didn't on that re-enter. Looks like a really odd, inconsistent bug.
Give that thing to the reapers. They like to burry seamoths and they stare at the prawn suits. If you leave a cyclips near one just keep watching. Youll see see tipping and yeeting the fucking thing around like it's nothing.

@@bored896 so someone on reddit told me that it is probably caused by me entering the cyclops, but it didn't say "welcome aboard captain, all systems online" and then for a unknown reason transferred over to the seamoth instead of the usual. I can't explain the pitch change though. If you need more proof then all of the other sounds, besides the change of the voice, you can tell are unaltered
@@bored896 yeah I haven't encountered it ever again nor have I see a yt video of it. Also on PS4 when you hit the record button it records the previous 15 minutes or gameplay. So I just hit it after this happened.
This actually sounds similar to the normal voice but about 10-20% pitch shifted slower. I know from programming with sound systems, sometimes you have to give parameters like the playback frequency or speed, so likely when loading in the relevant files the first time a number was miscalculated and the wrong frequency given. I think it can happen when frame rate drops occur because the threads for the background loading/unloading of resources and user interface updates, altogether are too much, and start competing for processor attention. TL;DR - the sound loaded with the wrong play speed, prob cause the game system was doing too much at the time.
Reapers: well, we will scrap it for another seamoth, then we'll scrap that one for another, scrap more and do it repeatedly until you say your seamoth is reaper food
Once when I loaded in the save file (I'm playing on PS4 btw) it said with the seamoth voice "warning. Emergency power only. Oxygen production offline." It had the seamoth voice, the seamoth had an almost full power cell, and it even said "SEAMOTH: bla bla bla" idk really what happened there
