You got to love how an air-to-ground missile is more capable at locking a helicopter's IR signature than a dedicated anti-air missile :§
Modern Imaging Infrared seekers with Staring arrays with modern semiconductors. Missiles like the PARS LR has a sensor similiar in function to the one on the AIM-9X.
I love how accurate this footage is. 3 out out of 4 games are devastating and hopeless losses. No matter what you do and how hard you try. Pretty much German top-tier at the moment. Absolutely great vehicles paired with not great at all overall experience.
not just that, even with the US in your team it's hopeless. Russia is just kinda stomping since the more skilled players are over there atm

Imagine war thunder gameplays would look so realistic so everybody flies or drives a tank in formation. It would be cool to just randomly do ambush missions

Tiger UHT is such a frustrating machine
On one hand the missiles don’t hit ground targets most of the times even if you acquire clean lock-on with no obstacles on the ground. On the other it locks on enemy helicopters like it’s nobody’s business.
Long gone the days of 4 to 6 kills per minute.

Always interested in how long it took to learn how to find the good positions that allow decent games. Usually I’m the guy dying in the first minutes or when I think I’m in a good spot end up doing nothing all game. Lots of time put into air but none of those skills have poured over into ground.

Hi there Hunter 😊 recently I've bought this tiger.. and the thing with its Par3 LR missile is, do you or do you not push the ( Laser designator) button when shooting at a stationery target? Or was it meant to be used for moving targets?
Hello my friend, congrats! you finally got it .. I'm sure it was a long journey haha, PARS are 100% fire and forget missiles .. like Mavericks, press fire button once to lock on the target, it doesn't matter if it was a moving or a static target, press the fire button again to launch and then you completely forget about it, you can dive or turn away to cover or search for a second target.
That doesn't mean PARS is the best missile, you will get a lot of "hits" against Russian MBTs and also if the target went into cover and smoke the missile will explode in air, also PARS can be used against air units, like choppers. The max range of PARS is 7km. I recommend using it at 4-5km range. Good Luck :)
@@Hunter_i86 hello there yes it is. It was crazy grinding in heli pve . I managed to obtain it before gaijin nerf the heli pve rewards system. Okay I just got the issue fixed. Now back to saving the fatherland 😅🤣. Thanks again Hunter.😍🥰

since every country is now getting top tier tanks with aps the USA needs new abrams (M1A2 Sep V3) and germany should get armor modification for leopard 2a6 to become leopard 2a6M and france needs Leclerc XLR which is like SXXI just with explosive reactive armor

Nice one Hunter! I really enjoyed watching it. Specially the part where you pulled your team mate out of sight :) German Tanks are really OP, but I cannot say the same for the Jets. By the way, could you please share me the link if you have a video where you show your graphics settings? Or make one and share with us if you don't have already? My PC is high end and I am playing at the highest graphics settings but I can't see a shit on the ground while diving in the Ground RBs. I spot the area when approaching at very high altitude, dive to that area while I am sure that an enemy is there and nope! Can't see anything until I fly pass over it and he starts to fire at me :) There must be something you are tweaking good because I see everything clearly in your videos. Please share your settings with us m8. Thanks.

Tiger UHT is the last thing missing from my top tier German lineup. But I have no will to grind for it honestly. I'll use gold to get it when there's conversion bonus I guess.
I have it and it's not so great most of the time. Ka 50/52 has faster ATGM and can get you first than you to them. Most of the time top tier maps are small or medium sized with a lot of obstacles like trees or buildings so it's kinda hard to get the enemy. The ATAS are shit vs. top tier jets, imagine a 8.3 missile against 11.0 jets, I never use them, PARS can do the job if the enemy is somewhat far and is heading on you, just hope the locking system works fast! It doesn't have a cannon for air threats, so minus points. Overall, it's good, nor great nor excellent.
I prefer to play it when the match is Germany, Russia vs. USA because I have more probability to survive. And I always bring it after using FlaRakRad. So basically I use it for the end part of the game.
But, if you still want it. Buy the Mi 24P with premium account. I grinded the whole heli tech tree in 2 days, with a total of 8 matches in the previous helicopter mode. Yeah, that shitty helicopter mode when you were on a Aloutte facing Ka 50. I tried to sneak up and hide in mountains and go with 4 cannons. It was painful.

I had this choppers long time ago .. even before Ka-50s in game, the Stinger was the most dangerous missile in Heli EC back then.
What's the keybind called that lets you lock onto moving targets with your helicopter like you did at 2:40?
Not all helicopter have it and it use same keybind as stabilization

im so done with the UHT 2 days ago i shot 8 or 10 Rars at a T72 moderne right in the open and only one killed like his comander ... same match 2 hitten top of a T90 absorbd -.- even light vehicle survive 2-3 every time for now i stick with the Russians but germany i will stop playing for a while. KA 50 still the most broken shit change my mind
Ka-52 is the best Heli in the game with UHT being second due to fire and forget capability and agility.

@@WarBomb117 when I was playing Ka-50 the zoom and lack of thermals was annoying. But the Vikr more than makes up for it. You can shoot down helis, planes, tanks very easily because it's fast and precise. When I take out my AH-64 Peten though... I curse that thing so much. Hellfires are so asinine to use. They're slow, they get lost on the way to target alot and most importantly they tend to be absorbed by modules. Gaijin should look into this.

how did you grind the top heli, bought talisman on any of the others or you bought the russian one?
I unlocked the Tiger UHT many years ago, even before Ka-50s release. In Heli EC when Stinger was the most dangerous missile. I was using premium BO-105 back then, which has been removed from the premium section I believe.
@@Hunter_i86 i have the bo, but i think the fastest way is to take a heli woth roclets , rush at the start of the match anf gets kills, the bo only has atgms

@@Hunter_i86 Well if you look up the forums there were differences between the Israeli and US Phantom for wiring and pylons.
Because of that the IAF F-4E can load 4 Mavericks and 2 9Js now - which F-4F and F-4E can't do.
Ec665 best choppers of the game. The german version have the PARS 3 LR and only a few people know what this missile is capable to do but the best is still the french version, the HAD
no you French fry, we have best tanks, and best helicopter, more than enough to take out any ground targets, plus we have a su22 with 4 agm and can carry 2 additional r60s

EC665 Tiger is a great attack helicopter, perhaps the best helicopter among all the other helicopters in the West. But still, the Ka-52 Alligator is a little better overall. But I must say that the game does not yet have such ultimate helicopters as the AH-64E Guardian and Ka-52M.

Look up the pars 3 LR stats in real life. They have a 9kg tandem warhead and top speed is 2000km/hr. Let that sink in. In game warhead is single charge 3kg, and flys at half its total top speed.
Well, 2000km/h I can't find that info, but the 9kg and TANDEM are missing in the game. Many T80s have survived the PARS because of the ERA, so fake.
Hasn't there been a bug report about the missing tandem charge, explosive mass and speed yet?
Let’s not forget the missiles don’t go 7km like it says, hellfires actually fire at 8km, and don’t get me started on the vihkers.
The UHT needs a buff & actual gun..you are basically free food to anything that spots you.
