For anyone who wants to get into his character start with moon knight divided we fall, then read moon knight 2005 and then vengeance of the moon knight after which you have to read moon knight 2011 and then Warren Ellis run on him which is only 5 to 6 issues and then read the trippy 2016 run for his more insane sides but only read the first arc after which you can read his 2021 run which at the moment is 7 issues long, all of this combined is around 100 to 150 issues but it's worth it, what makes him great is his insanity and how he turns it into his advantage

@@AvergeYT the Warren Ellis run has some of the best single issues of moon knight ever especially issue 5, the rest of the issues which arent written by Ellis aren't that great, they are decent but not good, so just skip those if you are slim on time

bruh when this came out last year I payed no attention to it and a few weeks ago the show actually came out, and now it's my favourite Marvel show so far. Brilliant job Marvel, can't wait to see what you will do in the future to your very extensive but great multiverse!

I'm really happy to see Moon Knight finally get reconigntion. He is one of the most under-appreciated Marvel characters. It is annoying to see the constant "HEA MARVELS BATMAN" comments because saying that is essentially just admitting you know absolutely nothing about the character.
Ikr but uh if you're annoyed with the comments due to the respect of Moon Knights creator then I understand but if you're mad because they compare it with Batman then nah Batman ain't moon knight level. He is Spiderman level hero aka greatest ones of all time

@Noah Stricklin ...Well.... Only really the Doug Moench, Charlie Huston, Warren Ellis, and some 90's issues like "divided we Fall" and "Scarlet Redemption" were well written comic book stories..... The Jeff Lemire Moon Knight run was overrated garbage, about as well written and needlessly confusing as Kingdom Hearts. I find it funny that only people who love anime seem to defend the Jeff Lemire run with a passion...... The Max Bemis Moon Knight run was untreated cancer mixed with an STD and the Brian Michael Bendis Moon Knight run was a complete cringe feast. Where Marc Spector spoke like Robert Downy Jr. throughout the entire run for some reason and in a crossover comic, Moon Knight believes he is Darken's Father (wolverine's Son). So Moon Knight wants to spend some father and son bonding time with him while Darken keeps trying to get away from him.

Moon Knight is without a doubt the most underrated superhero in Marvel history. I can't wait for Oscar Issac to portray him in the upcoming Disney Plus series
My excitement was already high after watching this, but the new trailer for Moon Knight just maxed out my excitement. Can't wait for the series to start streaming.
I mostly got to know Moon Knight through the Spider-Man & Avengers comics from the Stan Lee decade.

@@user-vf7vz6qx4d the very essence of moon knight is by default R-rated, he’s a millionaire but only by killing a shitload of people, he’s has about 5 personalities other than himself and have you studied or met people with dissociative personality disorder? It’s not all sunshine’s and rainbows, newsflash not all marvel superheroes are meant for kids nor have they been since their inception, moon knight along with punisher etc etc being examples. When moon knight is at his best with writing there’s very much a jungian and Freudian level of psychoanalysis involved with the character.

Taskmaster once fought Moon Knight but was so irritated by his "no dodging" fighting style that he cried lol.
Moon Knight has high pain tolerance and some healing factor so tends not to dodge attacks but tank them and dish out a few.
He didn't cried because the fighting style , He cried because moon knight was gonna kill him.

Recently finished Moon Knight vol. 1 and I can't wait for the Moon Knight show to premiere. Btw, can you tell Marvel Studios to make the show dark and violent and Moon Knight an anti-hero? And how about guest appearances from Daredevil (Charlie Cox), the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio), Bullseye (Wilson Bethel), and some more? @@boomsharade his comics are AMAZING 20-38 of the moench run really holds up even though it was made in the 80's, the 2006 run is one of the darkest and most badass comic stories you'll find, the 2014 run is just really slick and MR KNIGHT!!!, and the 2016 run is just a masterclass in many ways (granted you have to be able to get through the inherently confusing nature of the run). Plus the 2021 run so far is really solid! There were some duds along the way but the good stuff is really good!

Complex character even without superpower, D.I.D, and childhood trauma and dark past.
Character is avatar of literally a GOD, power changes according to the moon, ability changes according to personality.
Way brutal than Batman, doesn't hide like a coward in dark, instead wears white so that enemies see him coming.
