    Hey I wanted to say I appreciate the cute part with your kids. Nice to see you integrating your family into your hobby.
    That said, please add that this is the "rear" blower motor resistor change. I came here looking for the front swapped.

    Weird question but what freaking size are those screws!??? Out of 2 tool sets no sockets fit!! I'm about to take some channellocks to it

      To be honest, I don't remember! I think they were one of the weird .5mm sizes, like 5.5 or 7.5... in those small sizes, make sure you use a 6 point socket, the grip better.

    I have a 03 Yukon and mine was doing the same. Shop disconnected it for me until I can get the part. But once I turned the key off you can hear the motor back there still going.

      I pulled and reinstalled the fuse every time I went anywhere. That kept the rear air working when I wanted it, and without the fuse it wouldn't run the battery down when I parked it.

    So I found this exact parts with the same box number and it says it's not for the back could I still use it I have one in the front that I replace it looks just like this one they're literally the same I don't know why Amazon is telling me different

    • @SnowFamilyRacing
      @SnowFamilyRacing  Год назад +1

      Amazon has given me problems for parts fitment. I'll usually go search for the part number elsewhere, and I'll bring it to Amazon just on the chance they have it. Most of my replacement parts come from RockAuto.com or autozone.

    Hey ! Which ac sytem do you have ? The degrees one or the hi low one

    • @SnowFamilyRacing
      @SnowFamilyRacing  Год назад +1

      This one has the dial with numbers on it. I know that there are two styles and that dictates which part you need. The good news is that the location of the resistor pack is the same.

      First off, check your coolant level. Low coolant can cause the heater cores to not fill up correctly. Beyond that, there are several things it could be like the air door actuators or a couple other things. This is something that I would need to have the vehicle in front of me to properly diagnose.
