Colin Campbell the 1st of Argyll who owned the castle in 1315 was my distant grandfather's nephew. Colin Campbell of Glenorchy. Cool little find. Will need to check it out one weekend

Another Castle on an Island is Lochindorb in Scotland near Grantown on Spey. I nearly made it to the Castle as a youngest in a blow up cheap dingy. I did end up with Hypothermia, as I was pushed out in the dingy by my older sister and with no paddles I just drifted out towards the island. They thought my waves for help was me having too much fun.
this is the second video of yours that I am watching. Watching the video's with you in Kayaks really makes me want to paddle out to the Castles on the Locks myself, and camp out. You can't beat the feeling of getting somewhere under your own power that isn't a bike and definitely not wearing lycra.

I just recently came across your channel and love your content. I watch you from Oregon USA and would loved to camp in that castle!! What a wonder adventurers!! Looking forward to watching many many more ❤
I jumped in this Glacier fed lake while camping for a Bath . It was So Cold my Body Contracted and forced out all my Air . I sent like a Stone . I was 8 ft from shore and there was a drop off . I was able to push off a bit of rock and shoot myself above the surface to grab another Breath . I thought I was Dead for sure , and if my Buddies had jumped in to help . They would die too . When I made it back to shore . No one else wanted a shower . The next night we camped in a Campground with 100s of Grad Students . Lots of Girls and I was the only one who didn't Stink . Ended up at a site where one of the Residents was a Star on a TV series in the 70s . Moral of the Story . Check the temp of your Bathwater before you jump in and inhale and Stay Clean .

i went there in 2010 and it was full of rubbish, bags and bags of it just chucked everywhere. It's nice to see that it's been cleaned up, if everyone takes away every single thing that they take there then people can continue to have these kinds of adventures there.

Great to see three guys having fun. As someone who has been camping many years and a kayaker too i have to say two things. 1/ four miles kayaking is not far. 2/your camping skill need a lot of improving. That from someone who is 71 and has just kayaked ten miles down the Cornish north coast.
