A build that I really like is using milks+cats, and then adding a slime tower with an empty space in the front. Whenever you can get a coffee tower, the slime eats it and turns those sad temporary bonuses to sweet, delicious perma-stats.
I could never see myself taking the item that limits gold to 20. I’ve seen plenty of videos of people getting to 100+ gold, and that just feels like too much of a loss.
@@elsewhereprince3969 yes I was hoping the nullify plus the item would get me more value over time. Early on that relic is awesome and gets Op but later on, with ways to make good gold, it likits
chest- thief- builder- princes- princes- builder- ladder- ladder- guard. ofcourse with stairway. maybe replace the guard later in the run with another ladder. gives you scaling
I remember having a load of fun using 2 sets 3 towers (milk, slime, iron tower) or sub in (butler) with a buffed bear, and always getting extra money from crown towers, early on I just get pass by with ladders and iron tower lvl3 once I get the slime I sac them
so here is a build idea which i cant get to work properly because i dont have acces past the lvl 20 boss and is quite hard to pull of but has a crazy potential Build orde works best like this Royal Tower, Chest Tower, Thief tower, Jester Tower, 2x Princess Towers, Tower of Debt, Slime Tower, Insolent Tower, Bear Tower as for relics the best starting relic should be stairway to heaven, after that golden goose or the coupong the way this works best is that you start with an iron tower instead of the insolent tower. and its crucial to have the iron tower on level 3 and bear tower bvor you consider placing the slime tower after that feed the slime tower as many iron towers as possible until the second boss or try hitting a level 6 insolent tower before that. its crucial that you level up bear and slime alot so both can eat more and more. the devine tower works best because of its level possibilities of the towers it brings along the moment you get the level 6 insolent tower it only grows with each time it got eaten if you manange to bring it up to level 12 it basicaly doubles its stats each time. with that i wish good luck with that build if you try it out
THIS. Suggested that build on the hydra video. Really want to see it work out in a game longer than 20 rounds. Got as far as the slime, jester, insolent setup once but demo ended on round 20.
Yeah gold limit big mistake plus u missed the redemption by building ascetic early to make the most of your limited gold It appears to me u underrate the ascetic way too much in your runs, maybe not hard focus it early but after the unifying is like lv4 you can build that up cheap and get way more out of your gold and rerolls , also at that point (without gold limit at least ) chests become easy to lvl and gain you so much This is not meant as harsh as it might sounds , love your videos on this but i also wonder about the missed opportunities
Unfortunately there's 100 different combos in these types of games that people can go lol. I always play around with new paths to experiment. This run, the ladders were taking more damage so I had to try to buff them, or I would've never gotten past the waves.
you also forget the whole effect of your relics/items/perks the item that makes the first item free also makes it so you cant have more than 20 gold u always forget this and continue to invest in economy
@@regiliok I took it and the nullify to potentially build Builder faster at the start. And I invested in Thief to have another larger tower to build on besides ladder with the builder

When you’re in the second round if you choose the boss reward of extra gold but have a limit of 20 I don’t think it is counting

That sounds very tough to achieve, but should result in on of the fastest scaling builds :D
