Nothing better than a full video. I love this new Caravel. It would really work for a first Airstream -- a perfect Airstream! Thank you, Patrick and Colonial!!
EXCELLENT REVIEW! I’d love one of these! Edit: At first as you were doing the outside I noticed a pale green tint to the lower half, and thought Airstream stepped up its game‼️ Then I realized it was just a reflection from the shows floor covering. 🤣🥰
@@colonialairstream my husband retires in a few years so it may happen then! We've talked about selling everything and RVing full time. I'm studying and researching now. Patrick, could you please say um just once in one of your videos. How much preparation time do you put into a video? My high-school speech class instructor would give you an A.
Hi there, just have a question on this beautiful caravel 20fb, Can a 2025 Nissan Pathfider with a max tongue weight of 600 lbs and towing max of 6000 lbs tow this one?
@@FlyinByeAviationthats what a weight distribution hitch is used for. I have a 25RB which weighs even more and Airstream provided it with a weight distribution hitch so that the tongue weight was within the limits of my tow car.
Nope. Above “Hershey Price” it says “MSRP: $93,200.00” Whatever that number is that you saw says ”295.00”. Looks like a sticker is covering the front end of that price. (Edited)
@@JimGoryeb The 20FB has a hitch of 650 lb per the specs on the Airstream website, which seems high. Could be a typo. My 23-foot International has a hitch weight of 500 lb.
I adore Airstreams! Iconic, for sure. I wish, however, they would take more care in placing and concealing all the gadgets. The black plastic is so jarring and unattractive. Those panels in the kitchen are ill placed. My vintage (restored) Airstream had the breaker panel, and most other panels, in the closet. Breaker panel was in back. All other panels were just inside on the side. Any panel that had to be in view was colored to match the wall so it wasn’t so obvious. It felt more like a home and less like a toy.
@@Drvinnieboombatts I don't work for them or have any affiliation with them, but I did see a video on the separation issue, maybe by someone else, and there are struts that they add on to fix it. If memory serves me correctly, there were two years, like 2017 and 2018, that this was an issue. It is fixed on anything after that. Also, as far as cost, yes, the price for them is really high, but I do believe that the quaility is much better than other RV's, and I'd like to think that Airstream pays their employees a decent living wage, unlike so many other huge companies.
The best RV tours on RUclips!!!
Every single time this guys' videos pop up, I immediately head to the Airstream website and begin to imagine.
Great!

Glad you enjoyed it!
You are sooo 🤔 awesome! And the Airstream is very cool too ☺️ - just can’t quit loving airstreams
You're the best!
Really nice trailer looks easy to maintain
They’re pretty easy to clean and keep up with!
Very nice....lots of conveniences.🤔❤️❣️❣️💕
Love the direction that the entry door opens. Just makes sense!
Wow! What a beauty! 👏👏👏
It really is!
Best thing I like is bathroom. Porcelain toilet and seat in the roomy shower. Thing I like the least white privacy curtain. But that’s an easy fix.
Very good
So nice

A Caravel has Nevr Lube hubs

Your tours are the best, Patrick! Now I want one of these. I'm dreaming, but hey, sometimes dreams come true, right?
Yes, absolutely. Patrick can help you with the purchase.

can I used the fridge with no shore power ? just the solar and 2 good batteries? if so , for about how long?
Patrick is there a size difference ie height and depth of the Caravel overhead lockers compared to the Bambi lockers? If so, what is the difference?

Approx cost please?

Did you say 650 lb hitch weight? My ‘23 model has a 550 lb hitch weight. What changed?
Its 625 lbs. Electric hitch jack now standard, trailer frame lengthened.
@@colonialairstream electric Jack was standard on the ‘23 Caravel. That’s a big increase!
Nobody does a trailer tour better than Patrick. Like the trailer but the price :$93,000 - yikes. Too expensive for my budget.
The 5,000 lb total weight is within spec for many SUV's but that 650 lb hitch weight is probably too high for most (even most Jeeps).
I’m pretty sure that’s wrong. My ‘23 has a 550 lb hitch weight. Nothing has changed except fabric and wall colors as far as I can tell.

Cost no more than 20K to make, AS really tripples their money

If you want to tow a 5,000 pound trailer with only one axle/two tires, you go right ahead. I don't.
There is NOTHING huge about an airstream except the PRICE.
