As you’re a noob don’t try to run before you walk, technique is everything. Learn right, practise and remember, play slow to eventually get fast. Insist on high standards for yourself and a pro teacher is invaluable. Best of luck with this most rewarding instrument, you’ll be amazed how fast you’ll improve if you work at it!
i just had to look this cover up. Heard the song while playing dominoes with my husband. This has been one of my favorite songs since I was maybe in the 6th grade 11/12 years old. I'm 52 years old now. My mama and her friends used to play this kind of music on the weekends and I just grew to love love love love ALL GENRES of music. All of that aside. As I was listening. The first thing that I heard was the bass. Have gotten farmiliar with the bass guitar ever since 2020/THE PANDEMIC. I once was a Lyft Driver during that time and maybe 2 years afterwards. I have always loved music, so just riding around and driving and sometimes with no passengers most of my favorite tunes are playing and all of a sudden I'm listening to the instruments but one comes out more than others and I'm like...., that's the bass that makes this song sound the way it does. So after I realized it, every song from then at that point, that I really realy liked, I noticed that was it. IT WAS THE BASS GUITAR. I need a HOBBY and really want to learn how to play. Baby boy you did an amazing job. ONE THING I LOVE ABOUT BASS GUITARIST, is that you guys feel every note that you stream and the facial expressions you all make. I LOVE IT. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE GREAT PRINCE playing for Chaka Khan on the BET OR SOUL TRAIN MUSIC AWARDS and he was playing the bass for "TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD" I will never forget his facial expression while playing. That's when I know you love what you do. I even tear up when I see someone doing their best of what I have always wanted to do. Tears of proud of them, happy and joy and like wow. God Bless All Musicians I started out playing the flute in the 7th grade. Found out that my uncle had a alto sax at his house, we would spend the weekend and found out that the sax was a woodwind instrument as well. I'm just carrying on as if this is a journal. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOUNG MAN. ♥
