I just Subbed…great work. My question to you is does the customer come up with the design & you send it to transfer company or do you make a design see if they like it then send to transfer company? How many days do you wait for transfer? If you make designs yourself is that included in the price? If I’m not a designer do i contract the part of the process? Thanks a lot
Thank you for watching and subscribing. I appreciate it 🙏 Those are all good questions, and I think this would make a good video. I'll answer your questions here, and I'll make a video with more details. - Sometimes the customer has their own design or logo. And sometimes I create it for them based on what they are looking for. - Shipping will vary depending on your location. Since Supacolor is located in my state the turnaround time for me is typically 2 days for production and 1 day for shipping. - If I create the design and it was something simple that takes me 30 minutes or less then I don't charge the customer. But, if I have to go back and forth with the customer or the design took me 1 hour or more then I do charge the customer. - If you're not a designer then yes, that part you can contract out. There's many artwork services you can use for example Fiver. Then once you have the design you can send it to Supacolor.
@@thegraffixshackYessir would make for a good video & I’ll be on the look out for it just incase you add anymore details you missed here. Thx again for the response
Damnnn $5/shirt 200 pieces?? Gotta be a bigger print shop lol I use bigger shops to outsource sometimes too especially if they looking for something cheap
LOL yeah must have been a bigger shop. Outsourcing to the bigger shops is good for those exact times someone wants a huge order for cheap. Thank you so much for watching 🙏
Not being a hater you think u can do 2 color shirt front and back and pull off 30ty in 1 hours... U may have to flash colors also... If front only no problem pulling 30ty in a hour..but backs also.. Dryer can only go soo fast to get a good cure also... I just did 450 1 color front and back.didnt need to flash used a 125 screen purple was color shirt were black..pulled it of in 4 days..5000 order charged 10.95 a shirt... Job was going great I thought ..shirts passed the stretch test early on..I thought I figured out I didnt need flash by the time shirt came back around on a 6 color wheel .it took the 2nd layer with no flash...using fnink low cure... The purple would not pass stretch test at 260 I had to go up to 340....then the shirts passed stretch test..super confused cause fnink is low cure 260..... I think the short had moisture not visible to the eye..when I would let a shirt go through dryer and back it up and let go through dryer again. The shirt got hot like 360.it seemed to cure better at the high temp.... The ups and downs in screen printing sometimes makes me just wanna use transfers..lol. Great video...
Hey, how's it going! Thank you so much for watching and sorry for the delay in response. Ok let's answer your questions LOL 1- Can I print 30 shirts 2 color front 2 color back in one hour? I'm confident I can get pretty close to it. That will be a good video to make. I'll design a shirt for this challenge and make a video for you guys to see. 2. Yes, we are limited to the speed of our equipment like the dryer. 450 shirts? That's awesome! That's a good order. 4 days is not bad for knocking that out; good job! And as for the pricing it's pretty much what I would have charged for that order as well. 3. I use FN Ink too. I like it because it's low cure and I can work faster than regular plastisol ink. FN Ink is low cure and cures at 260 degrees but, it has to be 260 degrees all the way through the entire layer of ink; from the top all the way to the bottom. So, when you check the temperature of the Ink and it's at 260 degrees it usually means only the top layer has reached that temperature. So when you stretch test it the Ink cracks because it's not cured all the way through. What I do to ensure the Ink is cured all the way through is let the top layer reach 300 degrees and that will ensure the bottom layer reaches at least 260 degrees for a full cure. Did that make sense? 4. Ah yes, the ups and downs of screen printing LOL it can sometimes get frustrating and other times we just want to quit. Been there many times myself LOL there are always better days ahead my friend, we just need to get through the bad ones sometimes. Keep grinding! 💯🤜🤛🔥

I respect your decision time is money.
Time is money my friend 🤜🤛 it's ok to say no sometimes 💰
The only thing worse than loosing a job is finishing a long job and realizing that you didn’t make any money.
