Hey! Well welcome back! LOL uploaded some new videos and got some more already filmed just need to edit and upload them. Hopefully they bring value to you and your shop! Thanks for watching! 💯🙏
May I know where you order blank shirts? Especially for small orders? TIA!
I order blanks from San Mar, S&S Active Wear and Mission Imprintables. If you don't have a re-sale license you can order from Jiffy Shirts. Thanks for watching! 🙏
well done and explained video
Thank you! I appreciate you watching 👍🙏
Lol what a coincidence. I just bought a huge screen printer and I’m at my 9-5 working in Ramona as I clicked to watch this
LOL oh wow! What a small world. Congratulations on getting your screen printing setup! If you have any questions we're here to help! 💯🤜🤛
Your video is amazing at explaining how to figure out what is needed to cover overhead and still turn a profit. I could have used this video a long, long time ago! Thank you for helping out others to try to get ahead!🙏
Thank you! I appreciate you watching! 💯🙏 I'm glad it helped you out!!
Love the vid. And the trip/tour to the ale house was excellent!
Thank you! I appreciate you watching! 💯
......................................................GOOD LUCK
Thank you for watching 👍
Sir this machine was high density print ( yes or no)
If you're talking about the press it's a screen printing press. We don't do high density printing.
wow i love your idea.
Thank you! I appreciate you watching 💯
Awesome video - keep em coming!!
Thank you for watching! 👍👍👍
👍👍

I hear Reyes behind the camera! Where are you at man? I lost track of you on RUclips! Great video! You guys!
Lol yup! That's Reyes in the background. He's doing well. His channel has grown big time! Thank you for watching 👍
Cool. Does ICC make an opaque ink? I didn’t see you use a base.
They do but, the ones I used were not. I did a print flash print to get the colors to pop. Thanks for watching!
🎉🎉🎉 Amazing work thank you for the info
Thank you for watching! 💯🙏
🎉🎉 Support homie, subscribe and been watching you videos to give you more views, and hopefully, by now you're getting some good money. But thank you for the education.
Thanks homie! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and subscribe! It means a lot 🙏💯
How many washes it holds from your experience?
I personally haven't tested it... I have some Christmas sweaters i printed with supacolor transfers, they have gone through at least 6 or 7 washes and still look good. Maybe, i should to a video to test how many washes these transfers can handle 🤔 thank you for watching!
supacolor tranfers gang run is so small.
It all depends on the artwork... sometimes I can fit a whole bunch of designs on one gang sheet and sometimes just two or three. Thinking ahead also helps... I could have easily thrown my logo into the gang sheet but, i totally forgot.
@@thegraffixshack I buy at 60”x22” but it’s cold peel. The only down side. I’ll try em.
Yeah, I've used the 60" × 22" ...it works perfect for larger runs. They're hot peel... I've used them many times and it's a hot peel. Give them a try!
Hey would you sale pre burned screen for like a logo i want?? I just cant figure out burning a screen lol >_< 😅
LOL burning a screen is a tough thing to learn... it's a lot of trial and error and it all depends on your particular setup. Send me an email with the graphic you're wanting to burn and I'll see if I can help you out.
@@thegraffixshack yea i bet its simple brotha okay.. whats your email??
Correction, dtf has white underbase
Thank you for watching. DTF doesn't have an underbase. It's printed on a film directly which just happens to be white. The Supacolor "wearable" transfers are a two step printing process...first they screen print a white underbase and then they digitally print over that white base. Both are great products though 👌
@@thegraffixshack The DTF tech has a white underbase as well aka white ink. That's the thing you adjust to make sure it won't create an outline and make vivid the digital design printout. I know fully the hybrid type or wearables of supa.
Ah, i see. That's good to know. I'm not too familiar with how supacolor prints their DTF transfers, that's just what I understood from their website LOL thanks for the information! 🤜🤛
make a video how to charge
Do you mean how to charge for DTF transfers?
@@thegraffixshack make a video how do your charge for custom shirts how to price it
Oh, ok got it! I'll make a video on that subject! Thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate the feedback 🙏
@@thegraffixshack Thank you bro!
I know Reyes voice anywhere I haven’t watched one of his videos in a minute glad to see him still grinding. I think you meant 6.5 as half of 13 but this is great work
Yeah, Reyes is still out here grinding. He's doing well. Thanks for watching! I appreciate it 🙏
That’s opaque ink, I assume? Looks sharp
Yes, it is opaque ink. Good eye! Thanks for watching 🙏💯
Why did you only do one pass for the blue? Is there a reason why you didn't do a print flash print?
Good question . I didn't print flash print the blue because with one pass it looked close to the color the customer wanted. If they wanted it brighter then yes, i would have done print flash print. Thank you for watching 👍 💯
@@thegraffixshack thanks!
If only they ship as fast and as cheap as JiffyShirts.
They ship pretty quickly... usually 2 days for production and then depending on your location 2 -3 days for shipping.
@@thegraffixshack When I order today from Jiffy Shirts, the DTF will be delivered before the day ends tomorrow. Thats how fast I get my order. But I still love SUPACOLOR! I always buy wearable transfers from them.
Hey what type of emulsion do you use for your screens if you don’t mind me asking, I have the same light to burn but for some reason it won’t burn the image Thank you!
Hey, thank you for watching! I appreciate it very much 🙏 I use ChromaBlue photopolymer emulsion. Every light source is different but, for mine I have it set at 2.5 minutes.Give that a try and let me know how it goes. 👍💯👌
Thank you for the informative video! I’m working on an accounting school project where we have to calculate all the costs and sales for a business idea so this video was very helpful to learn more about how a screen printing business can calculate its costs and how to price!
I'm glad you liked the video and you found value in it. I appreciate you watching 🙏 best of luck in your school project! Let me know if you need help with any more pricing information for your project.
Hi! Do you have a tier system, as in price per shirt for 1-12 shirts is x amount, 13-24 x amount, etc... Or do you apply the formula to every specific number of shirts ordered? Thanks
Hello! No, i dont have a tier pricing system. I apply the formula to every order. So every order is priced with the formula based on the total number of shirts. Thank you for watching 👍👌🙏
@@thegraffixshack Gotcha! Thanks for the reply and great video. Helped me out a lot.
how did you cure it my friend? great video!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked the video. I cured them with my flash dryer. I have the flash dryer set approximately 5 inches above the platten...I use FN Ink and it takes approximately 10 seconds for a full cure. Thanks for watching!
Someone is offering my the same printing station and flash burner for 2,300 in good condition. Do you feel it's a good value, just based on the equipment alone?
Is it the same setup I have?
Very helpful! Thank you for putting this out there
No problem! I'm glad you found value in it! I appreciate you watching! 🙏

Hi Andres! Thank you so much for a well explained video🙏. If you ever want to give an online coaching, I will definitely be one of your students. 🙌
Hi Elvira! Thank you so much for watching my video! I appreciate you! Definitely gonna start looking into setting up some online coaching! Thank you so much! 🙏💯👍
Absolutely awesome presentation! Huge respect, and thank you for raising us all up with your effort, and for sharing your valuable and hard-earned experience on this video 🙌 👏
Thank you so much for watching. I'm glad you found value in my video. 🙏👌
I really enjoyed the video. I am wondering if you are printing just from home at this time, or do you still have your shop?
Thank you so much watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. As you noticed I am printing from my garage. The lease was up at our shop at the beginning of this year... and at the same time we were in negotiations for a home we were interested in buying. We ended up closing escrow pretty much at the same time the lease was up so we decided to move the shop to our new home's garage just until we can get things situated. 🙏
I had a question about using the flash dryer for the final cure. If my garment scorches and yet hasn’t reached the cure time should I raise my flash dryer higher? My flasher doesn’t have a temperature control on it so I’m guessing it just got too much heat concentrated on it too quickly. Thanks!
That is exactly right. Yes, if your garment is scorching but, the ink isn't cured then you need to raise the flash dryer a little bit. My flash dryer doesn't have a temperature control either...I had to experiment and burn many shirts LOL for my flash dryer I have it 4 inches above the garment...at that height with the FN Ink I use it takes approximately 10 seconds for a full cure. Try that out and adjust from there depending on your results. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching 🤜🤛
Awesome video. I'm about to get into screen printing, but dont have the space, so i'm sinking everything i have and a lot more of what i dont have into leasing a space. I've been estimating to the best of my ability as to how to price things out to make sure i dont starve to death and creditors dont come kicking in my door . This was super informative. Thanks a lot. Got any more tips?
Thank you! I'm glad you found value in my video. I appreciate you watching 🙏 having a grasp on the actual costs is definitely vital for any business. Once you know your numbers everything else falls into place. I wish you tremendous success my friend. Definitely have many more tips I can share. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to guide you in the right direction. 🤜🤛🙏
@thegraffixshack thank you! You're the man! I actually watched this video 2 more times earlier today to help guide me through working out my own expense and pricing spreadsheet. One thing I have been wondering a lot about since I'm starting out and trying to save money and space is, would I be able to cure ink if I flashed it a couple times maybe on a higher temp, or a longer time? Or would I be able to cure using a heat press? I don't want to buy an expensive conveyor right away if I don't absolutely have to
You can definitely cure with both a flash dryer and or a heat press. I personally don't have a conveyor dryer. I cure all my garments with my flash dryer. When i print at events i cure the shirts with my heat press.
i just watched the video and i have to say it was one of the best and most detailed content i ever seen on RUclips!!! Brother...do online coaching, you've got a skill ma man! thanks for sharing
Man, that definitely makes me feel good! Thank you so much for the compliment. I'm glad you found the video valuable. A few people have asked me about online coaching... I guess I'll have to look into it. Thanks for watching ma' man! 🤜🤛🔥🙏

Yo Andreas, i got a question, I printed some shirts up and im going to take them to boutique stores around my city, should I print my brand on the neck of the shirt, or should I print the boutiques brand on the neck? ...so in other words, should I make shirts for the boutique stores, or should I try and have the stores sell my brand? Im just wondering if i print their brand, they might be more inclined to work with me.
Yo! How's it going? Good question... That all depends on your business plan. If you're designing shirts with the intent to grow a brand then I'd print your own brand on the label. But, if you just want to design random shirts and sell them at different boutiques then I wouldn't even print anything on the label...if you want to use the label as a selling point for the boutiques then yeah printing their logo would definitely position you in a better spot to get your shirts sold at their boutiques. Hope this helps a little. I appreciate you watching! Thanks! 🙏
This is one of the most informed videos that I have seen in 20 years of research. Thank you!
Wow, thanks! I appreciate it. I'm glad you found my video informative. Thank you for watching 🙏
Do you have a reason for not using registration marks to center your designs to the pallet?
Yes... i dont use registration marks because it's not really needed for simple one or two color prints. In my opinion it's time consuming... you can easily get caught up trying to get the registration marks perfectly aligned on a very basic one or two color design. For me, the only thing i need is the center line on the pallete itself and even that i don't really need because i have a little mark on the back edge of the pallete which helps me align the design. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching! 💯👍🙏
Sometimes those vest come in 2 peice back area...so the mesh of shirt is on mesh on mesh and it will move...the vest u are doing is 1 mesh only so easy to srceen print on.....my boss took a job based off a vest like u are using...but when the vest came in the mail they were different then the vest the customer had originally brought in ..there was no way i was gonna be able to screen print on material that isn't able to lock down to screen pallet.. Have no clue why some vest are made like that......to make it more clear it would be like the vest u are using in video .but the back area has to layers of mesh..the mesh on mesh will not stay in place......so i had to make transfers to do the job....... So my point was not all vest may be like the one in video u are screen printing on... Thanks for video.....
That's true, not all vests are the same. And you're right, the double layer vests would not work for screen printing. I would have done the same thing...printed them with transfers. Thank you for watching 👍 💯 🙏
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience very helpful 👍
No problem! Thank you for watching! I appreciate it very much 🙏
No doubt, you are good Brother. Keep the good work going. What's the brand of your hoodie..?
Thank you! The brand of hoodie I'm wearing is Independent Trading Co. It's my go to hoodie. I use it for most of my hoodie orders unless the customer requests something different.
Bad advice all around. Fn ink is garbage ink, after a few washes the prints will crack. Wilflex Bright Tiger is a better choice.
The video does say "for beginners," not "experts".. this video is a great example for someone new and getting into the screen printing industry.
I've never had any issues with Fn Ink. That being said screen printed ink will crack at some point no matter what you do or what brand ink you use. Even the top brands like Nike are prone to cracking. Screen printing is great because we all have different setups and can produce similar results while using products that work for our particular setup. I appreciate you watching 🙏
I appreciate that! 🤜🤛
This is Very helpful, Thanks 🙏🏽
I'm glad it was helpful. Thank you for watching 👍
IT IS VERY SOFT. I know it by experience. Very Good your video: I like the fact that you mentioned one very important printing paremeter sometimes overviewed: OFF-CONTACT.... and like that you also brought up an issue that should be considered with all t-shirts: "fibrillation". Your white has "a good opacity" but does Your white capable to print without clogging the mesh after a while and able to pass through higher mesh TO PRINT FINE DETAILS that are not LETTERS? If not, look for that white that exists in the USA.
Nice! So you've tried the ink? Yeah, it's super soft and easy to work with. I don't print a lot of high detail stuff but i have used it to print with a 230 mesh screen and it went well and didn't clog the screen. Thank you so much for watching! 🙏
