    Love this video as it is one of "the most" knowledgeable vids that I've seen on silk screen printing at home. I am definitely subbing now and liked because of Reyes doing a TOURINOFIQUE' job of video with Q&A. Need to have you do my vid of my shop when you are in the Virginia area, brothers. DOPE!🤝

      Thank you brotha!! I appreciate you watching my videos!! 🙏💯🔥 Glad to hear you got some good information from the video. My man Reyes definitely killing it and doing a "TOURINOFIQUE" job behind the camera and with the Q&A. I was actually talking with Reyes and brainstorming on doing a tour to different screen printing shops so we could help guide start or improve their shops. 💯🙏🤜🤛

    I had a question about using the flash dryer for the final cure. If my garment scorches and yet hasn’t reached the cure time should I raise my flash dryer higher? My flasher doesn’t have a temperature control on it so I’m guessing it just got too much heat concentrated on it too quickly. Thanks!

    • @thegraffixshack
      @thegraffixshack  7 месяцев назад +1

      That is exactly right. Yes, if your garment is scorching but, the ink isn't cured then you need to raise the flash dryer a little bit. My flash dryer doesn't have a temperature control either...I had to experiment and burn many shirts LOL for my flash dryer I have it 4 inches above the garment...at that height with the FN Ink I use it takes approximately 10 seconds for a full cure. Try that out and adjust from there depending on your results. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching 🤜🤛

    What settings do you use for printer? How do you get transparency paper to print dark?

    • @thegraffixshack
      @thegraffixshack  Год назад +1

      I use the Cannon pixma ix6820 to print my transparency films. I don't use any particular settings; just the regular settings from out the box. I just hit print. As long as your artwork is black in your graphics program when you send it to print it should be ok.

    Where did you order tour test pellons? I cant find 100 pack for $25

    • @thegraffixshack
      @thegraffixshack  10 месяцев назад +1

      I get mine from my local supply store... McLogan Supply. They have a website you can checkout. Prices for everything have gone up. I just checked their website and the 100 pack is $35. When I buy them, I usually get 2 black and 2 white packs so haven't bought any in a while. I appreciate you watching 🙏

    Can I use white glue on the t-shirt board?

    • @thegraffixshack
      @thegraffixshack  Год назад

      Don't use actual glue because that will damage your shirts. If you're asking about the pallet adhesive itself, yes it can be white. The adhesive I use is white. The color doesn't matter as long as it's for screen printing.

      @@thegraffixshack Thanks for the prompt response. I actually mean spray adhesive to keep the t shirts stable on the Platten

    • @thegraffixshack
      @thegraffixshack  Год назад

      Ah, yes. As long as it's for screen printing you can use it. 😉 I used to use the spray adhesive myself.

    Would you sale screens burned with a logo of choice???

    • @thegraffixshack
      @thegraffixshack  Год назад +1

      That's not a service we provide. But, when I first started out I had my screens burned at my local screen printing supplies store. I did this until I was able to burn my own screens. I would suggest checking with your local shops

    You can 4 colour screen print for about $100 this ain’t no beginners set up.

    • @thegraffixshack
      @thegraffixshack  Год назад

      You're right. I don't have a beginner setup. But, my setup is not too far off from the beginner stages... I have a 6 color 4 station press and use my flash dryer to cure the shirts. My exposure unit is about 12 years old and definitely nothing high tech. You can definitely get a beginner setup for under $500... should I make a video about my very first screen printing setup?
      Thank you so much for watching 💯🙏
