Back in the early 90s I was driving my UPS trailer late one night on the NJ turnpike and along next to me in center lane pulls up a tour bus with Waylon written on its side. I looked over and he was standing next to the driver with one boot on the dash board. He looks over and waved to me! I was star struck! 😅

Just cause you sing it with a southern drawl, doesn't mean it's country
Just cause it's new & from the south, doesn't mean it's country
And if your guitar don't wang, it definitely ain't country

If you’ve been looking for the lyrics:
It's three in the morning, and my mouth feels like fuzz.
A long time till daylight, and im about to lose my buzz.
Where is all the music, the night is still young.
I came here to party and have a little fun.
Bring on the women, open up my cage.
Been saving up all week, and i wanna shake my leg.
I dont need none to tell me, when it's time to go home.
I came here to party and i wanna get it on.
So punch old Kenny’s song on the jukebox.
Something about a cropper in a field
I know you know the one that i speak of
I believe the ladies name was Lucille.
Your beer is good and cold, and il believe il have some more.
And i might do the aligator, right down on the floor.
I know il pay tommorrow and its more than just a hunch.
But like they say on tv, you only go round once.
Let me hold you one more time little darlin'.
I love the way you feel in my arms.
Show me the way to my cowboy cadillac.
Were gonna party till the dawn.
