Hey man sick build! I'll be giving it a try. Also I wanted to recommend checking out the new Loadouts option in PoB since it seems you like to keep everything organized. You can group everything into loadouts now based on your own personal breakpoints for builds. It's super nice
Just for a but if min maxing you could drop the Stormshroud Jewel for Ancestral Visions Jewel. Allowing you to remove the Shock avoidance(Ghastly Eye jewel) on the tree. And add something else.

I think with the Recombinators back in the game this League. A 500 DPS weapon might be more than possible if not easier just by forcing a double fractured weapon.
I honestly sat here for 5minutes thinking about what I would tell someone to play if they were new. Straight up ideally you play something that looks fun that you wanna play BUT if I had to pick something I would maybe say srs guardian since his ascendancy pretty much gives him enough power to slowly push to t16's. A weaker build but a solved build is RF from pohx it's not "strong" by any means but it's one of the few builds in the game that has been 100% solved and all the info you could ever want exists. If those don't sound good then just go full meta and look into the goratha frostbolt build he streams and will answer any questions you have and that build is busted for damage. GL HF

Yea ive been playing around with splitting steel, im not really seeing the value of the dual weilding over a monster 2h. Maybe its block chance being prioritized? The damage output on the dual swords is just so much less lol. I kind of want to run a starforge, but im not quite there yet

Been running split -> cruelty -> leech > return > fork > greater projectiles. Its pretty massive, fork and greater projectiles does exactly what you think it does lol
Tried this build, its actually great but on crit version i have very big issue with mana. Without using lifetap i often end up in situation that i have more attack speed then mana to use spells. I mean that i do one skill one normal attack etc. Any ideas?
Can the mid version do Uber bosses? I’m playing standard league, do the league changes affect the standard league even tho we can’t use the mechanics ?
does the build have enough life regen for Kaom's Spirit? Everything else looks smooth but thats the one of part of the build that looks a bit off to me tho I might be missing something

Ran a champion SS last league all the way through and had a great time. Had a nimis, but wanted to use a mage blood too and couldn’t figure how to incorporate it properly on the champion. I saw others using mageblood with the trickster build. Do you think mageblood is viable in the champion version? Debating going SS again just trying to put some end league goals together.
prrroooolllyyy not? if I made this build for deep endgame 2weeks+ I wouldn't pick champ he's just barley still good enough to make league start easy, outside of a league start setting a trickster can (I think) still become nearly immortal idk if trickster cheated the conversion nerfs or not though

dude this build was so easy to set up and make good money last leage it was awesom and i made it work to higher dps to got Nemis and swap the retarn proge for inc crit it was stupid good
how are you proc'ing adrenaline? I get the lifetap is a way to lower your hp but the ascendancy gives you adrenaline when you're low (which is 20% ish) no? I didn't see your hp drop that low in the adrenaline explanation section so I'm a little confused as to how exactly the adrenaline is proc'ing if someone could explain it
low life is 50% these days so corrupting fever+lifetap+second wind will eat thousands of hp so you just level or de-level the gem until using lifetap would consume half ur hp, you heal 25% once adrenaline procs and hit ur life flask asap.
this is before loadouts were out, its 1 level over because it has help alira ticked just take the free skill pt instead in endgame, also it doesn't really matter if you want more tank go get more tank if you want more damage just go get damage.
For the expensive crit version you gloss over Eternal damnation as just being the best option. however the fury valve just seems too good damage wise to get some extra elemental tankiness? or is that extra mitigation just that good/ your damage doesnt get affected as much as it seems it would? Also while im sitll missing the watchers eye and ancestral vision, otherwise the required gear isnt currently half as expensive as you seem to imply. Like if you get absolute perfection in rolls everywhere it would be but for like one step under that there is currently so much great gear floating around that compared to other "expensive" builds ive seen it doesnt seem too bad. (assuming you ignore the aforementioned jewels which the builds runs fine without)
I must be dumb, but I can't figure out how to get gloves with that rage implicit. Is this still available in the current league and if so how do I get that on gloves?

The issue with advertising a champion as league start is sure, it can be done, but a slayer can do it better. It has overleech, it has access to crit so it's going to be less of a pain to gear end game, it has easy access to frenzy and endurance charge stacking. What does a champion have? A gimped blessing and fortification that was only sought after because of ballista builds which was nerfed, it no longer has attack speed and armor. Really no scalability compared to others.
The entire goal of a league start to me is something we know works and is safe. Slayer looks amazing and is probably the best ascendancy this league....but have we tested it? Does it feel smooth from level 60 until 4 stone and which tested melee skill do I know I can play in Hc this league deathless and with confidence. The answer is Splitting Steel to me maybe you tested every melee skill and you know a replacement but at the end of the day I know people played this exact version last league and had a successful league start and then they can reroll to slayer later when they know what works and what doesn't.
I looked at one trickster splitting steel leaguestarter with a hc mindset and clicked off the pob within 2mins so idk if you have a much better pob than the one I seen but it had basically no defenses at all just 6k es
@@WafflezLovesArpgs no i dont have a better pob, i played ss champ last league and wanted to try out trickster. I saw steelmage on trickster SS on hardcore, but that wasn't a League start build, so that would be a bad comparison.

i can second pohx's rf cheiftan build. its the most beginner friendly, and he has a whole ass website dedicated to it.

have you got the leech nodes in top right? with the 1% and 10% instant been largely fine for me as long as I dont whiff many attacks in a row.

Probably be pretty solid with runecrafting of return projectiles. Hope its not a craft limited to bows only or something.

hey man - why does your build show to ABOVE level 100, and is there anything to prioritise for passives if you are level 90?

You have Poacher's Mark in the level 1-12 skills but you can't get it until level 16 until act 2. Am I tripping? Probably.

nah trickster just needs more gear so tldr early league = champ late game = trickster
