- Carver County Sheriff's Office Electronic Record 2 & 4. Prince's white bedroom at Paisley Park was photographed on three different dates. These images are first grouped, then put in sequential order with the purpose to show how the room flows, and be oriented to the views, and walls around the large space. Notice the gold bedspread was bunched up on the later photo dates, exposing the deep red sheets. This large space was previously an office, as seen in the "Gangster Glam," music video.

intriguing to see what a humble home he had. no real updates architecturally speaking, simple possessions, and decor - altho i was saddened to see his artificial plants. Also - to see what appeared to be a towel he may have used hanging in the shower.......... still hard to accept he is really gone.
In the eighties, potted artificial flowers were quite common in home decor and furniture showrooms. However, artificial palm, and fern plants were not common in the 80s.
I thought the fake plants and dried arrangements were sad too. Aside from the bunch of roses in the kitchen there was a distinct lack of living plants in the whole complex.
@@dennybish67 Concur, though keep in mind Prince traveled a lot. He would have to include watering plants on Meron's To Do List. Which is not a priority for him, as this was not related to music.

I didn't get the impression of a home either, these picture show loneliness, sadness, and probably surprisingly a introvert loved his music you must see these people stars, as regular people regular problems just very talented,
I get the sense he didn't really cherish material things that much. He had some great wealth but it appears he did not have the amount of things you'd expect with someone with that much money. My guess was the music and performance was where his priorities were and everything else was secondary. So it didn't matter to him much what his living quarters was like, just a place to go to sleep.

Paisley Park was built as a business and creative hub. Although it did have a personal apartment, he didn't live there until later in life after the 2nd divorce.

I don’t even think that was his room, the police crime scene shows a much different bedroom, it was a nice gold and deep burgundy color not that white bed!!

Seems like Paisley Park only had rooms. Not necessarily a home, but just rooms.

Off the dinette area, there is a large industrial kitchen, video coming soon.
Yeah, it wasn't meant to be Prince's primary home (but it ended up that way).

I recently visited Paisley Park on the tour and it’s so many rooms in that place it’s unreal. We were only allowed to tour designated areas but, it’s evident he’s vision for PP was a museum. I was in total awww all the more of his creativity!💜💜
He had great taste, and artistic mind. His taste for shapes and colors. I'm sure if he had not been a great singer and artists. He could been a great designer. Think what he could of created simple yet elegant. He liked simple yet tasteful. He didn't over do it. He wanted his bedroom to be comfortable. His space. He did it his way. I get it. I like it. Maceo Parker said he rarely slept. He didn't need a bedroom. Prince also had quite a few properties in and around Minnesota.

He didn't sleep in that bedroom on a regular basis. The room that's smaller next to this one is where he slept.
The white bed was used in a music video! He used the small bedroom behind the conference room. There is a video on this channel for that small bedroom that Prince actually used. Very humble, he went back to roots behind he passed.

I noticed a record sleeve from an Elvis record by the record player.
It was rumored Prince had purchased a huge collection of Elvis records.

@@PrinceInvestigationFile5 Yes, even in the studios. Seems like everything is fake now. I appreciate what Omar tried to do with creating signature real candles and selling them but PP doesn’t seem to be picking up that idea for permanent merchandising.

These are pieces from video sets - not a bedroom. The bed is from the '90s and the chair is from Black Sweat. Read the police interviews with Kirk Johnson.
It wasn't an office. It was the private apartment behind his 2nd floor office. And yes, it was featured in Gangsta Glam
Paisley was not a home and not his residence (see Kirk's statement to the police). He was staying there while he converted it to display his stuff for his fans. His intention was to buy or build a home on the lake where he owned property.

@@8359563 Nope, Prince had AIDS. He was "officially" diagnosed with it 6 months before he died.. although some people say he had it as long as since 1990.

That stain glass door goes to two different staircases. Prince could quickly get to one side or the other, going the other way.
Where were his outfits? I have not seen one single video of his dressing room?
He had his clothes in the laundry room, not that many. That is a good question, where were the rest of his beautiful clothes during the photograhy by the investigators? There were also some clothes a partial view in a messy storage space. He didn't use this White Bedroom much at all. It was mostly a set and set pieces for his videos.

Prince had beautiful homes with his ex wives, and in Los Angeles, Turks & Caicos so Paisley Park was really a production facility with a lot of stages, studios, and props.
