- More from my extensive archive of loco hauled workings in South Wales. Now I have the time I'm making 10-15 min programmes of unusual working and also I hope, shots taken from different vantage points throughout the area. Good road maps are essential as well as good contacts for timings etc....enjoy
fantastic stuff & the sound is great too..
It looks old ,but has a warmth & nostalgia & melancholic feels ! It makes me feel like riding on it ! I am Japanese & watching this from L.A. ( have been living in the States for over three decades ! ) ! My concern is enviromental affects ,though ! Wales has been in my bucket list for life ! I'd love to visit Wales ! I really need to ! I must !!! The land of dragons & braves !!!💜💜💜🥁🐉🎵🎤🎶🏴🏴🏴🎄🎄🎄🎉🍾🥂💖💕💞
I'm so pleased you enjoy my hobby too. I retired 20 years ago so I have the time to go out and capture these railway movements. There are over 600 clips for you to enjoy. Thanks again for your support Mike in Wales
Liked loving the viduct shot with tones!!
Thanks again Bob. The viaduct shot was taken whilst I was at a friends wedding. I remembered that the 37s were t & t so I put the video in the car " just in case" I think the hotel has recently closed. Are you going to Llangollen this year ? TTFN Mike
Absolutely superb Mike, brings back many happy memories, and some excellent locations..the one of Porthkerry Viaduct was my favourite....Bob
Thanks. I use a street plan to fine the best vantage points. I use a Sennheiser directional mic too. Glad you enjoyed my footage
More to come when I have the time. Just got back from Llangollen Steel, Steam and Stars 3
Great stuff. Nice to see you got 37428 first. Had a cab ride with her from Machen to Park jct. Terry Preese was the driver and he was good friends with my mate Derek Short. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this excellent footage
