Happy 80th Jerry, Thank You for the MUSIC!!! it was alwyas about THE MUSIC!!! everything else was a lot of fun too, but for us it was ALWAYS about the MUSIC!!!
No Track Listing ? I remember , it was really great vibes….Actually did the entire tour. Which I intentionally did not do with the GD…but I saw too many shows, from ‘79- ‘84 Never thought I would still be here today, to see the growing popularity of people that recognize skillful soul layed down in precision🎼
4:45pm.... gnu has another show this afternoon.... Khanukaha Khontinued ... if you are free... then I'll see you there... on gnuTube ... happy daze 😀😁🤗😉😎
I was just listening to the 2-6-72 Pacific High recording studio with Jerry, John(?), Merle, and Billy. I haven't had a tape or link to that in 20 to 26/27 years but this show was listed and I saw Billy and knew I never had this so I jumped to this one for now. I definitely wish I could've or would've gone to more GD or Jerry related shows when the time was still here. Another hidden gem this one is, I love finding these on here.
Happy Kahnukkah to all indeed! Hey Stagger remember you asked if anyone goes looking for bouncy TLEO’s when a ‘73 show pops up? When new JGB shows pop up I go looking for Mission in the Rains 🕍🌧⚡️ This set list looks blessed from top to bottom 👍🏼👍🏼Thanks Gnu!!
This must have been at Sophie's/Keystone on California Avenue. Not sure what it was being called in 82. Loved the venue across from Antonio's Nuthouse where they had great pool tables and decent bartenders
It was already the Keystone by then. I've had a few drinks at Antonio's over the years. As far as I remember, they never swept the peanut shells off the floor. Now that Palo Alto has yuppified, I assume that place is long gone.
jerry was constantly experimenting and taking risks. sometimes it worked and it was magical, and sometimes it didnt but was still oftentimes basically passable music but he had some off nights thats just part of taking the risks he did musically
Besides Reed's answer I'd have to say IDK, maybe someone to sit in? Maybe Jerry and John, NVRMND....the music wavers between great and decent but I would've loved to have been present.

Brain phart: why do students make dreidels on Hanukkah, yet no Christian stuff. Is that fair?
Deal is incomplete 😢
BRUTAL
Why was a 2nd keyboardist needed ?
To annoy people :)

anyway, the show sounds good. so what.
I guess Jerry didn't have your lame azz to consult. Why can't idiots like you just enjoy the art?
