Jerome John - The Universe loves you.
Thank God for your everlasting Spirit. ❤
One of the best JGB soundboards I’ve heard. Thank you for uploading
I saw a number of Jerry Garcia Band shows at the Keystone Palo Alto in 1978, I was aware that I was seeing some of the most supreme musical performances I would ever see. An early show and then a late show. time of my life. Donna Godchaux & Maria Muldaur would sometimes ask me to get pitchers of beer or soft drinks from the bar and bring them up to the stage, 'cuz I was dancing right in front of them all night.
I saw a bunch of shows at the Keystone Berkeley the year before 1977, with just Donna singing. It seemed like Jerry loved playing with this band, as he appeared free, easy and smiling a lot. Same with John Kahn. But just watching video didn’t look like Donna and Maria had much fun. Not sure if you picked up anything regarding that.
Now that's a monster of a 'Mystery Train' Kahn & Tutt driving it like Casey Jones on a key from Peru while Keith 🔥🔥🔥 & Jerry 🔥🔥🔥 are just ripping.
it's so nice how much you can hear Keith
The tone of that guitar...vibrations up the spine to the 👑. 💜
Divine.
The Travis Bean TB500 with aluminum neck. To me his tone sounds particularly bright and “metallic” in this period.
“Sitting here in Limbo” defines the feel of this show so eloquently. Especially how they open the tune.. laidback and easy.
Thank you Jimmy Cliff for writing and Jerry for this perfect rendition..
Jerry always had a gift for interpretation of the original into his own feel..
I'm always amazed at how much music that Jerry had to give. This guy was ALWAYS on tour or on a stage somewhere. Music was what Jerry lived for and he gave the best he had to give on any given night. It's magic on tape, true honest real tangible magic. Thanks for sharing Dave, always a pleasure man✌.
Well put GREG 🙏
Diddo! Love these guys that share the wealth of pure enjoyment!
He never stopped. He’d take a break with the dead and then legion of Mary or old in the way and always exploring new music and people to play with. When he took on the peddle string , it was special because “it had him” at first until he made sure “he had it. “. He even asked bobby to sing dire Wolf 🐺 because he was just learning
Think about how many lives Jerry reached by playing guitar, even after he is gone. Now think about all the guitar players in the world, no matter how good they are their reach is dwarfed by Jerry’s. He was an exceptional musician. A genuine positive force of nature that we all benefit from. And still giving
So true his music made everything all good
Thank you Love for sharing this!!

I say MORE!! 💯+50! 🎢

✌️
@@staggerlee4979 44:04 it was exactly this simple twist that my soul needed. of that intense piano. from that masterful solo of jerry. of the lightness with which the music is played. 💜🎹🎸⚡
what a great time to be alive with great jams, i can only appreciate it later , born in 76 good to know how rocking it was. Very lucky to you all to see these kind of jams live . take care all
Jerry's reflection in the D130's is classic, just like the Tunes! Thank you Jerry (&nognu)!!

It was Hot today in North Carolina.
This some really good Jerry 😊👍
one of the best setlists of JGB 76-78 era
👏 great show. 2nd set at 1:05:30
So good!!!
excellent quality
The Sugaree is so gorgeous
"77 was a magical year
I was probably at this show.. saw the lineup quite a few times at the Keystone.. I was 23 that year and between the Dead and JGB, and a LOT of golf... I was a happy young dude!! ☮️
Hey pops, definitely a special place in time! ✌️❤️🤘
Words just can't convey the Awsome quality as well as talent in any band Jerry was a part of!!
Thanks Again Jerome!

Gar had the gift of music
this is way badass, thanks GNU!!!! feels really sweet to my ears man.
Sure does. The bass sounds on this are super discernible and tasty which as a drummer I always double appreciate. Put it on the headphones . woooeeee. 19 minutes "Stop That Train" ... This is JGB at their reggae core
Jerry man⚡️
I got to see him at the PLADIUM ON 14 ST N.Y.C IN 1980 he had a guy do magic tricks open for him .Jerry put on a good show nothing like live music.
Nice to hear John Kahn turned up on TLEO. He's always too low in the mix. Reminds me of the JGB @ The Shoreline 1990 DVD. You see John Kahn moving up and down the neck, like a madman, but hear nothing : ) He's a really solid bass player.
This show is a BEAST! This board is a BEAST! Gnu is a BEAST! ✌💨💨💨
GO JETS!! 🏒💨💨💨💨
3 outta 4 ain’t bad ….Go BLUE ! 😉
What about Benny?
Stop that Train & Mystery Train! Nuff Said
House announcers like, it's 2am, drink up. Jerry starts playing Stir it Up then after at 2:00 guys like, come on, drink em up! Lol 😆 🤣
Way!
That Mystery Train is hot as fuck

Hey gnu. Throw up an address for a real crypto 😉 & I'll drop ya a dime. Just messing but if you have any other non-eth based addresses I'll be sure to add something. Thx for the upload. Anyone know why WOS's recent Providence 6/24/74 was taken down/'unavailable in my country'(or any other my VPN has access to) thx ✌🏽
Which crypto do you prefer and I’ll create a wallet link 💵 thanks for the consideration 🙏
@@nognuisagoodgnu btc, ada, vet, but no sweat, I picked up some ETH recently so I'll drop a few bob in the jar. You're JGB streams brought me back after years of listening to some other stuff & I have gone way back down the rabbit hole. Loving the music as much as anytime in my years, & I've been a full on DH since I was 13. It couldn't have happened at a better time in my life either. The community you & a couple others have brought together are some of the best people on YT. I'm grateful for both. Very grateful. ✌🏽🤙🏽
I guess I never gave Keith enough credit.
Never was a Donna fan.
Donna did just fine without you 😀
Accurate, she would've been great with a level knob!!
It’s a package “deal” ,Donna had epic moments ,and starting off as a Brent fan it was a battle to admit I liked Keith …I’d take Saunders personally over them both 😉
Keith's the man. Nobody better. IMO of course:) as for Donna, well nothing gets close to 72-74 for me so in my little ideal Dead place the only member who was surplus was Mickey. Never felt he added anything. Billy was drummer enough for several bands. There is a Grateful Dead or JGB for us all though. ✌🏽✌🏽🤙🏽
If you had the good fortune to see her in those days you would understand that she was ABSOLUTELY a big part of what was happening.... she was mesmerizing.... at least to me!! ☮️
Love the intimate vibe ! Such a tasty board man. Nognuhasgoodtunes thanks Dave ,I sent u some brotherly love 🤑via PayPal, your doing important work here.
Cheers!
Thank you so very kindly 🙏
