REEBOK FloatZig Symmetros review! Is the more stable higher stacked Floatzig Symmetros from Reebok a serious running shoe? Is it a good daily trainer? or is it simply a gimmick shoe!

Thanks for this review. So basically its a style shoe which you can run in, but it's not a real runner's shoe that you want to put the miles and speedwork in for marathon training.
I work on a rotation of 4 pairs of shoes which these won't fit in, 2 pairs for the many miles of training, 1 pair for speedwork and then the carbon race-day shoes.

Gutted it's a miss, love Reebok. Please review the X1 next and stop me wasting my money....

Too heavy for me to consider the shoe and while the outsole is covered with rubber for durability, it adds to the weight. And the EVA frame is a put-off as the Energy foam is not a super soft foam. This one is a casual wear shoe.
They should really bring back Run Fast and Run Fast Pro series with PEBA foams. They are stuck in budget running shoes and crossfit shoes with almost no innovation in running. Even the Zig is a rehash of an old idea that didn't work and probably will not work this time either.

Tried it, and it was digging under my ankle. Generally, I like the brand and would love to have running shoes from them, but defenetly not this iteration.😊

No, 4's were better than 3's for me. 1's were fantastic. 5's are different. Symmetros's 2.5's are their best.
