I love that the dimensional magic stuff behaves like resin but doesn't require the inadvertent inhalation of noxious fumes. I live in an apartment within a former hotel, and because the building is historic, the remodelers couldn't replace windows, so there's zero ventilation opportunities.
Which made me sad because there was this keychain project I found via Hobby Lobby, but as I looked through the supplies I had, I remembered it required resin, which I have...but I stumbled across a video where a young lady reported major physical reactions to the use of epoxy resin, largely due to no ventilation.
Soooo...I started looking for alternatives, because the initial keychain idea (involving glitter) was really cute, and might be an introductory money-maker for me once I get a drill bit set (does anyone have any idea of the bit size I might need for a keychain hole?).
There are also mosaic inlay ideas from Fire Mountain Gems I want to try, but they usually reference resin, and I don't have a way to ventilate. 😔
Then, I stumbled onto this video featuring Mod Podge and the dimensional magic. I will have to look up other videos where people are using this stuff as a resin replacement, because this is a winner of an alternative, and I haven't even started anything yet. 😅
9:30-ish: If you make wallet-sized prints (a 4x6 photo with four 2x3 images per sheet) should get you a small enough face for a 1 inch pendant.

Omg thank you both soooo much! I must have watched 50 videos b4 finding yours. I have adhd so I hyper focus on a project & I have never made jewelry OR worked w resin. When I found out about dimensional resin I would’ve done a cart wheel if I was able to, LOL. I tried making my 1st one last night but now that I found you I know what I did wrong! Hello! What about strength test? Do you have strength test vid about it? I'm planning to use it as a glue for my project.. Its a photo printed on laminated photo paper and then I will glue a cabochon
Every time I pour I am getting really small bubbles all over that will not come out with a pin. I have followed instructions & watched videos. I do not shake & I pour some out before I begin. Is there any way to fix a pour that has lots of small air bubbles? Also, how do I prevent this from occurring? Thank you so much! 🙏🏼

I make handpainted earrings and it actually did leave a yellow tint on it. 😞
I have tried this on a few projects and it always turns out cloudy and the bubbles do not leave I followed all the directions and get the same reaction every time.
Hi thx for the video! Can you use this dimensional magic with unicorn spit gel stain & glaze? (It calls for a polyethylene or epoxy resin for a sealant after its dry or use polycrylic mixed in with the unicorn spit stain/gel/glaze
Dimensional magic is not polyethylene or a 2 part epoxy resin so if your materials require one of those it may not work.
@@plaidcrafts thank you for your response and it calls for it as a sealant if you use something else like poly acrylic or anything water-based you would put it or mix it with the color or the gel stain stuff anyway I am I think that is how it is anyway I am no expert I literally have only done one thing and I haven’t sealed it there’s almost not enough colors for me to do what I wanna do so I’m just waiting I got it as a gift but I have a lot of ideas for dimensional magic so I was wanting to know if it’s compatible with acrylic paint crafters paint or any water-based paint thank you

❌❌Please help......I make tray charms for bracelets I use mod podge three dimensional and cobochon , I’m noticing air bubbles and bleeding from the photo paper , Can I use regular paper a nd use use mod podge in place of the cobochon . If the charm gets wet will mod podge will photo be exposed ..❌❌
