It's debatable because I do like Angel with human Darla. What he did for her, how he tried to save her, how angry he was to know she wasn't going to live for long, how he cared for her like no one has ever done for her. Although I like Spike and Buffy.
2022, and I'm still here watching them. I've never seen another tv romance as powerful and epic as theirs. Thank you for blessing us with your Spuffy videos, this is one of the best edits I've ever seen!
Buffy easily fell in love with Angel and Riley. And they left Buffy behind when their relationship got into trouble. But Spike was always by Buffy's side, even when she and her friends mocked, insulted, and treated like dirt. Even when Buffy was not in the world, Spike remained with her family and friends to keep her promise. He was always faithful to his feelings without falling into self-pity and depression. His excellent empathy and love for Buffy even when he was soulless. He was human enough to feel guilty without a soul. He will never leave Buffy and love Buffy and live for Buffy.
They've had such a great budding romance after Spike got his soul back. The show should have explored their relationship more, I feel like I've been cheated out from an epic love story.
It's 2024. I started watching this drama in my mother's hospital. I don't speak English, but I'm feeling the intensity of these two actors' performances and characters. Your videos have helped me a lot. I am watching season 4.

And maybe he thought he was talking about himself and Dru, but without even knowing it, he was etching out word for word what his relationship with The Slayer He Couldn't Kill would be. Dang, yo. This... Freaking love this. FANTASTIC job on capturing all of that in the video. I'll be smashing that replay button many more times.

@@GoddessPallasAthenaIt’s possible, Joss told Marsters early on that he was going to develop a thing for Buffy but I don’t know how early I’d have to watch the interview again to get an idea, but I agree it describes them not Angel and Buffy at all, I watched a video last night that did a really nice job with that speech and scenes of Buffy and Spike, that scene was in Season 3 so I think Joss probably had already planned the Spuffy stuff.

I’ve been a Spuffy shipper since I first watched Buffy with my mum and her sisters when I was 5. Recently rewatched it (after 19 years) and omg the feels came back!!! I’m so glad to come across this vid (ive been replaying it since 😂) It’s so beautiful and captures their relationship so well 😢 and honestly, with all the parallels throughout the different seasons, it seemed like they always planned for Buffy to end up with Spike ❤ (even though we all know that wasnt the case 😂)

Always wondered how a soulless vampire could fall in love with a slayer. A tortured vampire poets infatuation.. turned 'true love' after retrieving the soul. Angel fell in love with her as himself, with his soul. Spike started falling for her hard..before soul. Then no change after.. still Spike & still in love with the slayer. I want an explanation that was never given. Unless Buffys explanation true, that what he felt wasn't real or couldn't be because he was a dead thing inside.. sorry, this subject above all others in the series always fascinated me. Something made him think of her, dream of her & view her differently. Even when Drusilla was still with him. Dru saw it before he did..back when he was in denial. :-) -Jennifer Dylans' mom 🎉

25 years on it is still worth your time. Some of the effects are ropy, but the characterisation, the scripts, the performances, the sheer depth of it make it one of the best shows ever.

spuffy has always been too dark for me to ship in earnest (i can only really deal with them when i'm in the right mood lol), but these are the kinds of videos that inspire me to edit. so packed full of emotion every single time and with something new to notice on every rewatch. i don't know how you do it. :)

They were most definitely in a toxic relationship. You are 100% right about that. Usually, the toxicity is mostly coming from one side, but here it was coming from both. Him because, well, in his words, "Are you surprised? I'm EVIL." And from Buffy because she was spiraling into deep depression, and, gosh, it's just so hard to watch her go through all that, but she does admit to him, "I'm using you." Which is why, also, the infamous _scene_ never sits right with people. R@pe is a power differential. The intention is to overpower. Spike was ...not... stronger than the Slayer. They may have been evenly matched, but, as you see, she does succeed in throwing him off. Compare that to his behavior in "Halloween" when she ISN'T evenly matched. And his words are wrong too. He's begging her to admit, as he has from the very beginning, that he means something to her. She's holding all the power there. _"I have power... they don't."_ All this is essentially corroborated in the church scene right before she realizes he has his soul. She reaches for the wound in his chest and what's his reaction? "No! No touching! Am i only flesh to you?" Then he seems to resign himself... "Get it hard... service the girl." The entire r@ap dynamic is upside-down. She's always had the power. _"Do you even like me?"_ :( The entire thing is incredibly toxic, but even within that, there is love, and, thankfully, eventually, growth.

I already left two comments under your vids, which is stupid and I should punch myself because you deserves more than two. I know I already said that your Multicouples | This is a love story is probably my favorite video of RUclips, but this one is simply perfect. I don't know anything when it comes to create a video (the colors, the transition, slow motion...) but I know for sure yours is perfect for what it tells. I think video who show a new perspective to a character, a film, a series, a relationship... are the best, because it's so much more than a video. Your videos about Eleanor&Chidi or your tribute for Pam are another examples. But this one... there is no seconds or moments I wasn't deeply moved or impressed. All the scenes chosen, all the voicelines chosen and the lyrics of the music are a perfect mix, I've watched so many Spuffy videos, I loves the one who did but this one made me realize so many things about them. Not only about their relationship but also the characters themselves. And the end... wow, I don't know if it was on purpose, but the fact that the new version of the song lyrics is with a candle and you did all the parallels about burn/fire... it's simply perfect.
