SURPRISE!! HAPPY VERY LATE BIRTHDAY JASMINE!! :D I hope the wait was worth it and again sorry for my slow ass. xD
What can I say about this edit and these two... This edit was initially supposed to be 5 min but I kept extending it and extending it until I fit all the scenes I wanted to use. Of course there are scenes and voiceovers I still wasn't able to use, but I will edit them again in the near future. I actually already have an idea of the next song I'm gonna use. Their story can't be told in minutes. It's worth of hours.
PS: "That scene" was so hard to put in :/ but it's part of their story. The good and the bad.
I love how we both share so many tv shows and couples together. You are my tv twin and I'm so happy I met you!! I love that we can talk about anything. You are one of my favorite people and one of the most talented angels I've ever got the chance to become friends with. I hope one day we can meet in person. I love you hun and I hope you like this edit. I really enjoyed making it, from start to finish. :D I think I need a break now from editing long edits hahaha. I'm gonna stick to my 2 to 5 min edits for a bit.

So I did tell you about me writing a word document long ass comment, but I mean it ended being so long it could literally double for one of my school essays HAHA and I’ve rewritten it bunch and hesitated to post it but after 24 days here it finally is. First, this is literally the best gift imaginable in case you weren't aware of how I felt about it but I think you got the gist from my various reactions HAHAHHA. Even just knowing that you made it for me makes me want to cry again and even though it’s been weeks I’m still in literal shock this exists and I can come back here to and just rewatch it over and over ( I swear I tear up every time I watch it). It’s also probably my favorite video you’ve ever made and hearing it’s probably your favourite too is so special. No wonder it took you months to make, I mean you managed to compress all of Spuffy’s journey and all its complexities and little details into 8 fucking minutes, it's phenomenal!!! I’m still in shock you even made an 8 minute video, omfg I love it with my all my heart🥰🥰Believe it or not because even with the size of this I'm still at a loss for words on what to say. This is such a MASTERPIECE!!!! Btw I never even clued in that this video would be our beautiful and heartbreaking soulmates when you told me you had a video you were making for my birthday! THEY OWN MY WHOLE HEART😭😭💗 BEST SURPRISE EVER 1000X WORTH THE WAIT!! Spuffy for me was my first offical ship, even before I knew what shipping was. They have definitely without question been for me that one ship that has withstood the test of time, and my love for them over the years has only grown. This video is every reason I love them them and why their is not a single ship around that has this kind of story development and can only hope have it. That's what makes them unique and so special and aw hun you captured it all in such a stunning way👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Okay, can I just say how much I love you for starting with that early season six parallels because it’s so telling of their relationship and where their early connections began. The fact that the whole 0-1:10 you used those parallels I knew this already was going to be one of favorite videos. Just like Fool for Love, he was always there for her in her hardest times and those still scenes of them just sitting together are some of the best. Then to go from those moments to season seven and just thinking about how genius that was because it shows a deeper love that was created and how we go from just Spike being their for Buffy and wanting to be close to her to both of them being there for each other. Such a beautiful way to show that development. I feel like I’ve watched every Spuffy video ever made, but the way you blended those scenes and parallels both their relationship and their own inner personal journies just was so unique and made this video feel like something new. 3:57- 4:05 omg I wanted to cry to go from him declared he was going to kill her the first time they met, to him actually counting the 148 days she was gone because he couldn’t imagine living without her. That was just a straight up attack to all my emotions right there😭😭😭 Honestly this video was just a barrage of emotions, quotes, and unforgettable scenes I tried to time stamp them all and failed miserably because it was basically me getting emotional every second of and repeating that this is art and how much I love/hate you for including said scene😂 but you know what it's true this is a piece of art every scene and quote you used both filled me with so much joy but also was a constant attack to my feels. The way you seamlessly blended everything together was just breathtaking, this whole video gave me chills! I love how also added subtle moments like 5:11 Hells Bells scene where we do see Buffy’s pain because she hides so well. 5:15-5:33 Buffy going from calling him a thing to not only calling him a man but showing much she believes in him and being the one to give him strength is everything!! I love how you chose to use the "Hell of a woman" speech going back over those moments was beyond beautiful! In conclusion e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶ ̶B̶u̶f̶f̶y̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶S̶p̶u̶f̶f̶y̶ ̶f̶a̶n̶ EVERYONE needs to see this work of art you created, it’s on another level!!!!!!! And okay yes I might be incredibly biased because it's made by you, for me, and it's freaking Spuffy's story, but I know it’s true! I also have showed this to serval people in my life both buffy and non buffy watchers because I can't get over how amazing it is!!

The fact that I actually don't like most musicals (Disney movies also being an exception ofc), and especially don't like TV episode ones, but yet pretty much know all the words and will sing along to any rewatch of OMWF shows the power of Buffy, and the god tier level that the music episode sits at🙌 I think every show tries to touch it but ultimately fails LOL. I wish the bathroom scene didn’t ever have to happen it ruined the whole show for me.
Angel had to have his soul to love her, spike fell in love with her when he didn't have his and kept loving her even after getting it back.
But I think Angel was just scared of his behavior as Angelus in Season 2.. I think he could’ve done the exact same thing as Spike. He messed up big time and was just afraid and didn’t wanted anything like that to happen ever again. I mean that Buffy/Spike thing was lovely done.

@@GLBizzie I agree with you. Angel seems to be cruel in a massive way, he hurts Buffy in ways that aren't so easy to forget. I explain you this way (I'm not native English, so sorry for mistakes, mispells and difficulty in expressing me) btw: think about your first love it's something very important. But sometimes you find someone who is normal and sweet and sometimes sob, one of my former boyfriend treated me like hell, he use violence ( phisical and emotional) on me. It was awful. If your first love change this way it's tremendous because you aren't prepared, young and you feel even guilty (without a reason). Spike made a huge mistake but we know all the story, he wasn't a bad person, he was shy, not fitted in the society, then he became vampire and he still tried to make his mother better with tremendous consequences, but he did it for her good,he was in good faith. Spike seems to be a great warrior, he's passionate even about the killing, but if you look closely he knows to be a monster and he didn't like anymore when the chip changed his point of view or even before, lost for Drusilla he asked Buffy from help meanwhile Angelus tried to destroy the world. They aren't the same type of vampire too, Angel didn't nothing to change for her, Spike changed before realizing he was in love with her. Angel is the first love and I can understand, but Spike is the one who changed for her because if you don't love yourself you can't love others. This is my vision and opinion obviously. Love to you and to the person who made this outstanding video.

Interesting how he is saying that he loves her but she says “no you don’t” and then in the last episodes she tells him she loves him but he says “No you don’t” hmm 🤔 it’s like it’s they don’t believe their ears. She doubted that a monster can feel love, and he doubted that she can love him cause he is a monster. So sad.
from my perspective every time spike said "I love you" and buffy replied with " no you don't " that was her way of saying it back without actually saying it or accepting the fact she does and when he says it back to her, in the end, its just their thing

Everyone left her spike was her constant. He loved her from the moment he saw her but it took her till the very last moment that she loved him just as much. Her relationship with angel was nothing but a teenagers love her relationship with spike was real. Spuffy forever.
Spike was so much better for Buffy than Angel. Even if they never end up together (besides season 6) look at all he did for her. Even before he realized he loved her, he helped out on numerous occasions when it would have been in his own best interests not to. For goodness sake, he got back his soul for her so he would never hurt her like that again. He understood her and once he realized that she needed him by her side but not necessarily in her bed (though there was some of that too) he was willing to just be there. That's more than can be said for most people.

I like to think that feeling the fire gives her that moment of clarity. She feels the fire - she feels! Finally she can admit she feels, for spike. He said he can feel his soul and part of me thinks she could feel it too, singing through her as much as the pain of the fire. That she felt her love for him burning just as bright and painful, knowing it was too late... 😭

I was a Bangel fan first and then I re watched all 7 seasons again after 17 years and now I know better what Love, Compassion, Relationship, Lust and Struggle for each other and so on is for myself and to others. To not see Spuffy as the righteous choice for her is more about your personal feelings and dreams for the other two rather than the true love Spuffy pours out for each other. What I see in Buffy and Spike is something other then a temporary love affair. I see something larger, hotter, more honest love than the teenage crush she had for Angel.
Angel was a teenage love, a summer crush where she was young, stupid, naive, inexperienced and blind to what true love is and what that means. He was that first love that a girl has for her puppy, a love that is more about reverence and feeling sorry for the lost little Angel who wanders around Sunnydale like a lost puppy or a stray dog with his shy insecure smile lurking on his face. Angel is weak mentally as well as physically. When Angel has a soul, he radiates insecurity, immaturity, caution, modesty and wanders around lost and aberrant in Buffy's vicinity.
David said to TMZ that "First love is true love and true love is first love" WHAT? if the first love is the true love and the true love is the first love. Then all teenage relationships would last a lifetime and there would be no divorces at all in the world. No the first love is like a fog in your field of views.
Then when he loses his soul, he becomes even weaker as he cannot resist the demons he has in him. He becomes utterly evil and slaughters helpless women, children and men for pleasure more than for his hunger. He wants to erase the human race without remorse. To get Angel under some sort of control, he must first have a soul and then see to it that he never feels happiness and love for another woman again. Who kills Angel? Buffy does. Even when he is restored to the dull gray Angel again she drives the sword through his heart and send him to hell...where he belongs. She never kills William.
Spike is everything Angel wants to be but will never reach or fulfill. Spike is a leader an individual and the Alpha male who rules over his own body and rules over his inner demons. He is in full control. He is younger, he is twice as strong as Angel physically and ten times stronger mentally. He radiates a self-confidence and status over himself that no one can upset or access. The only person who makes him knee weak is Buffy. Spike loves Buffy without a soul and helps Buffy and the rest of the Scooby gang against evil creatures. He protects Buffy's little sister Dawn with his own life at stake. He is subjected to cruel, bloody torture without even uttering a word where the Key is (Dawn). He never harms Buffys friends and her closed ones and always listen and support Buffy in her guidance and her struggles she have in everything they do. Even when he comes to her house with a shotgun in his hands to shoot her for his pain and misery he has towards her, he lower the gun immediately when he sees her crying and is in her weak mode and is unstable. He sits with her, holding her and comforts her. Their share the pain they have for each other. The last week together is when Spikes is allowed to share bed with Buffy. She wants him next to her to feel his body against hers. She is safe at home in peace when she leans her head on his chest. She spends the last nights in Spike's bed down in the basement. Not because Faith sleeps in her bed, there is room for two in her bed but because she wants to be where Spike is in his presence and feel his body close to her. They might had sex these nights or not, regardless. This is where she wants to spend her last time in Sunnydale with. That's Love.
He recognizes her first of them all when she comes down the stairs by just looking at her eyes and the way she moves. He knows, he feels, he senses her immediately. He has counted every 147 days as a loss in his life and that he has counted these days in pain and sorrow. He knows her the best and better than she knows herself inside out. They both know that they are right for each other and that Spike always wants to be with her because she needs him more than he needs her. Spike knows this therefor he is close to her so that she can take out her despair and anger on him and be the punching bag she needs to have because he can take it. That´s what scares Buffy that Spike is so genuinely pure open and honest towards her about his feelings for her that she does not know how to handle it. She is afraid that he will burn her heart. Eventually she wakes up and give him her love. True couples fight, argue, yell, grow, mature, support each other, make each other stronger and have intense passionate love and sex. That is the Hallmark of Spuffy.
He becomes a GOOD person without feeling anything but pure love for Buffy. He performs great deeds and is a strong cog in the life of Buffy and her friends. He constantly wants to improve in front of Buffy and protect and support Dawn. Once he gets his soul back, he performs even greater deeds and perishes with the city of Sunnydale to save the masses of the people. He helps Buffy and trains slayer girls of tomorrow to fight right and to make them more skilled, confident and stronger. If this is not the purest love a man can have for his girlfriend and her friends but also for the inhabitants of Sunnydale and for mankind in general...Nothing is. He is the backbone the guardian of the Summers Family and the strongest and closest allied the Scooby gang has. He sacrifices his life for Buffy. He died for his Love for Buffy so that she, Dawn, Willow, Xander and her Slayer friends would survive and he asked for nothing in return. All he wanted was to show that he was no longer a demon but a Man who does good deeds for the people he love and for ordinary people. Williams Love for Buffy and the rest of humanity he regained, saved the entire world from the Hellmouth. To have come this far Spike went through voluntary death fights and torture a second time just to get his soul back. He would have done all of this with a soul or soulless. This is strength in its purest shining form and the greatest love of them all. Great love is wild passionate and dangerous it consumes and it burns. When they hold each others hands for the last time a burning flame surrounds their hands. She is feeling the true love she truly has for Spike and admits to him that she loves him. That Flame is the Eternal Flame for each other.
To produce a rape scene was probably more to soil down Spike's role as the good hearten Spike became more and more a room-clean character in everyone's eyes. That he would do this evil deed against the woman he is willing to sacrifice everything for is more ugly and unrealistic than logical. Spike was Buffy's sex toy and he felt more like a sex slave to her as he never had the guts or the heart to say no to her closeness. He wanted so much more that he was always available for her. He had to settle for being ignored by Buffy and the times she wanted his closeness he had to settle for the crumbs she gave him. He wanted her Love and Buffy wanted his great sex performances. Buffys love for Spike came more and more when she realized that she didn't have to hold her guard up in front of her friends around Spike when they starting to accept Spike as an Allied and a friend. Even Giles and Xander accepted Spike as Buffys boyfriend eventually.
This scene in (seeing red) is a product that Spike was becoming more popular than Angel and Buffy combined. He took over the room with his great presence and stamina. The love story of Spuffy was getting stronger in the households at home and Angel was becoming a forgotten character. So they did this rotten scene because of Team Spuffy was a stronger match than Bangel.
Buffy eventually realized that Spike made her alive and without Spike she might have become suicidal. It was Spike who took her out and made her feel alive and the desire to live and feel lust again. All of this grew when she was with Spike. She was at peace and home in his soul, mind and body when she was in the arms and presence of Spike. With Angel she was treated as a defiant child and therefore did not gained trust instead she was lost and weak minded teenage girl. With Spike who boosted her she became a strong young grown up woman with self-esteem who got praise and support from Spike. Angel held her down and Spike lifted her up.
SMG as an bangel fan is more her own memories with the person of David than the character of Angel and their chemistry together on the set rather then rational thinking. Freddie could easily be her Angel the resemblance is there. If Spike was Angel and Angel was Spike she would have gone with the character David was playing.
Deep down with neutral eyes and knowledge of true love that we the rest of us have experienced when it comes to love. We see Spuffy for what it truly is and not through the fictional Hollywood bubble. In the real life Buffys savior is Spike. Buffys greatest love is and Will be William. She realize it and eventually goes with it when she can lower her shoulders. We see what Buffy needs and not what the viewer wants. What she needs is Spike by her side who is always there for her. He protects her he comforts her and knows what love, sacrifice and fighting for your love is. She is becoming to be with the man she needs and love. The mature eternal love is William the Lovely. That's the Love Buffy ended up with in the future and so is it written later on. That's what saved her life. Buffy and Spike lived together for the rest of their lives and their love for eachother was eternal. For that I say, AMEN.

I’m only on season 2 and I have to say that I knew Angel wasn’t right for Buffy from the start. He was never there for her when she truly needed him. She almost died under his watch multiple times. He was so bitter and negative WITH a soul that he hardly ever said more than two words to her.
Spike I can already tell loves with a passion. Even the way he treats Dru without a soul is so interesting to me.
Plus the way she looks at Spike and the way he looks at her. There is an allure and an inspiration that I can recognize from my own experience with true love.
Angel was a good introduction to love (had he not lost his soul immediately after Buffy loses her virginity).
But anyway I can’t wait to see where this Spuffy love affair goes.
Think about this next time you think angel was right for her. Angel wanted to kill her when he didn’t have a soul. His love wasn’t real. Spike loved her with and without a soul. He was there for her, and understood her. She talked to him about things that she couldn’t say to the rest of the gang..

Spike went on the biggest journey after Willow in the Buffyverse. Spike got his soul *for Buffy*. He couldn’t bare what he had done. In S7 we got the best TV couple of ever if not the best one of the best. In S6 not that much. He was a killer then a hero, a champion.
Spike loved Buffy way more his own words could express. And trust me he expresses them very well all the time in fact. She should have been with him in the tv series too. But at least they together in the comics. beautiful work.

I LOVE SPUFFY! Spike in my mind has always been endgame! A lot of people who don’t like his character I feel as if they don’t understand him. He was able to love Buffy even without a soul and that’s something that Angel wasn’t even able to do ❤️ this video was AMAZING !! Please make more videos of them. The show actually might be getting a reboot and if it does I really hope that we get to see a relationship with Buffy and spike and I hope they end up together 🥰💫

Buffy found true adult love with Spike. She was prepared for any obstacle in her life. Angel was her first illusion, her first crush period. With Spike was a true challenge in life and made her do things and think a certain way towards him. So to all the buffy and angel fans out there just know Spike never felt her always loved her. Spike did attempt to rape her and it was horrible but in the btvs story line he really never forgave himself for what he did.
