The commercial I saw has a beautiful young lady walking with her luggage, looking around her new city, and arriving at her barren apartment -- all alone in this world. And this haunting, crystal clear music enters as she has small items from Amazon Prime unboxed, and plants, to make her modest surroundings home. Lastly, the camera zooms out from her looking out at the big city from her window with plants. It captures the gravity of this one sweet girl alone in the world. The music and the message was so powerful it made me very emotional. 😥 It should win an award. To me, this short commercial is one of the best I've ever seen. The song has a haunting quality reminiscent of the wonderful Gladiator soundtrack "Now We Are Free" upon General Maximus Decimus Meridius finding his dear family, lovely wife and son, horribly crucified in the fields of his home.

The music is actually just Pachelbel's Canon in D from the 1600s. The lyrics are just stuff about being trans. I think Pachelbel deserves all the credit here.

Not everyone takes the time to find out it's a very old, classical piece of music. If more artists put words to classical music it would bring it to the masses as this has done.
I absolutely love this! I used to play classical piano as a kid- and I was good at it. Unfortunately I begged my parents to let me quit because I had to bump up from practicing 1 hour to 2 hours. This makes me wish they had not given in.

There's some talent in adding lyrics and sampling a piece of music made by someone else. Obviously it's not going to be as influential as Pachelbel'a canon but it's a good song that mixes well and turns it into its own thing. Reminds me of Björk
I have to admit it was the Pachabel cannon background music which caught my attention and led me to investigate further. This beautiful tune has been sampled indirectly in countless other peoples music. This is a really nice example of its use, unfortunately you don’t get the full meaning of the song from the advert alone.

What makes this song is the "CLASSICAL" song they ripped off and intertwined into it. Without that "ORIGINAL PACHEBEL" ripped off classic it wouldn't be anything.
No, I respectfully disagree with you there. I think the songwriter writes from the heart and even though an old classic is used to back the sentiment...It breaths new life into this classical anomaly. All in all, the singers voice, coupled with it's dreamy sentimental timeless feel makes this song a phenomenal choice... for me anyway. Amazon sees the talent in it's creators, as do I. Kudos to the production team! It's a timeless masterpiece reworked in a very soulful and uplifting manner.

The “fucking” kind of zapped me out of the transcendent journey I was about to go on. So I got the lyrics and was able to resume journey.
Yeah, the potty language for me always puts me off when it's gratuitous (like in this otherwise beautiful song) and not needed... but, I guess musicians of a certain age see the need for some "naughty" words to stand out ... oh well, thanks to some audio editing software I usually clean up that $h*t... (😆 see what I did there?!)

OK, I'm here because of an Amazon advert, I LOVE Cannon D, so far, in every style I have heard it. It is simply a one of the best bits of music ever written. Although I don't really like the "F" word so many times.....I get it, but, also not surprised Amazon cut it. That being said, the vocal overlay on Cannon D music works.

My dad wanted paschelbel's cannon played at his funeral so this means a lot to me. Christina adds lyrics and it sounds amazing...... Until the 'F' bomb in the lyrics..... Oh god why. This could have been superb instead it's trash stop with the swearing there's just no need.
Loved the song on amazon commercial Spot and googled it. Found the official video from Christine and the Queens (who I never heard of before) and was so confused about the lyrics because it had nothing to do with the harmony and peace Amazon commercial clip - they just cut out the heavy stuff of the song. Also i was confused about the performance and the look of the singer so I started to read about the artist and now, knowing more about him/her, everything makes perfect sense. Great Song, great lyrics, obviously written by experiences in life
